By the will and authority of His Imperial Majesty, Hadrian I, notice is hereby given of a union ordained to secure the future of the Imperial Crown.

His Imperial Highness, Marcus Tiberias of House Horen, Crown Prince of Man and Duke of Grense, born of the august union of His Imperial Majesty Hadrian I of House Horen, Emperor of Man, and Her Imperial Majesty Elizabeth of House Alstion, Empress of Man, shall take to wife Her Highness, Valentiná Renata of House Asturias, Baroness of Montero, born a daughter of the union between His Highness, Adrian Marcel of House Asturias, Duke and Prince of Asturias and his late consort, the Lady Maria del Chey.

Upon the person of the Crown Prince rests the heavy weight of imperial inheritance. In the Princess of Asturias We have found a most fitting companion to him, as someone who shares his inclination towards mercy.

Let all subjects and allies to the Empire alike extend their congratulations and offer prayers for the couple’s longevity, harmony, and devotion to the realm.

The Month of Godfrey’s Triumph | Friday, January 2nd

Convening of the Bridal Party | at 4 pm EST
A private convocation for Her Highness Princess Valentina and the ladies of the Court shall be held upon the roof of El Palacio de Salia. In this exalted gathering, the Princess shall select from among the assembled women those eight who shall serve as her bridesmaids.
Gifts, though not required, are graciously received. Light refreshments shall be provided at the expense of House Asturias.

Convening of the Groomsmen | at 4 pm EST
A private assembly for His Imperial Highness Prince Marcus Tiberias and the gentlemen of the Empire shall be convened within the Celosian Palace. Therein, the Prince shall elect from among them eight men to stand as his groomsmen.
Gifts, while not obligatory, are welcome. Drinks shall be provided at the expense of the Celosian Court.

The Month of Aurelian’s Glory | Saturday, January 3rd

The Nuptials | at 4 pm EST
Within the Throne Room of the Celosian Palace, the Prince and Princess shall be joined in holy matrimony. Subjects of the Empire and honored guests from beyond its borders are invited to bear witness to the union and to the future of House Horen.

Before the ceremony’s commencement, the gathered assembly shall be led in prayer by His Holiness, who shall then solemnize the marriage. A procession of ladies of honor, chosen at the Bridal Party, shall accompany Princess Valentina in her approach to the altar.

The Joust | at 5 pm EST
Hosted by His Highness Prince Valentin of Burgundy in honor of the newlywed couple, the jousting tournament shall stand as the culminating spectacle of the wedding revelries. Commencing immediately after the nuptial ceremony, the tournament shall display the valor and prowess of men and women from across the Empire.

Entries are open to all wedding attendees, with preference afforded to Imperial subjects. Victory shall be rewarded with a prize bestowed by Prince Valentin of Burgundy. All rules and ordinances shall be clearly proclaimed at the tournament grounds prior to its beginning.

The Month of Sun’s Smile | Sunday, January 4th     

The Concluding Ball | at 5 pm EST
To bring the celebrations to their graceful close, a formal ball shall be held within the Celosian Palace, attended by courtiers, Imperial subjects, and honored foreign guests. The bride and groom shall host a reception wherein all are welcome to mingle freely, with refreshments provided throughout the evening.

At a time announced by one of Princess Valentina’s bridesmaids, those in attendance shall be invited to present gifts to the newly married couple.
