Father Martin watched over the battlefield from his wheelchair, preparing to mount a horse so he could still contribute to the battle. However, the battle would be over sooner than it could even begin as the horde of disgraceful, unarmoured and ill-armed dwarves plowed straight into Imperial blades in what would be a massacre. "It's over?" Father Martin asks simply before the Empire's tacticians began the next phase of the war plan. Clearly, God had made his blessing over the Empire known this day through this free victory.

"Dear Mr. THE EMPEROR, if that is your real name..." Begins the anonymous love letter.

"If the dwarves will not show the hearts of warriors, then they will not receive a warrior's death. Let their people be no more than fuel for our forges, hang the rest. I have five scarce years left in me, I will battle again before I meet my end."
The Shugo says to his Admiral @Reckless Banzai Screamer, ordering warcrimes, as the aged Samurai was carried by his litter through the Valley of Gold.

Relad had been at the battle, the scarred Norn surveying the end result. Less than five minutes from arrival to end. Was this it? Was this all their Alliance had to offer?

It left him with no pride to cut them down, only a wonder as to why they died on this hill. There was no honor in suicide.

Veyric made his preparations to fight for his country, as all loyal sons of Idunia strive to do. As he entered the battlefield, he was greeted with shouts of victory for the Imperial side.

"Its over?" he asks, surprised.

"It's barely started!" he continues, obviously disappointed not to be able to participate in the fighting, as he had done with the previous battle on artillery

The Lone Salvian Ranger and his horse rest atop a hill of the goldleaf vale. Dusk had nearly given way to night and the campfires of the Imperial camp glow brighter every moment, their distant cries of celebration can be faintly heard as echos. The Ranger takes count of their numbers, and their wagons in tow before he makes off. He takes a moment to cite the bodies of his fallen comrades, treated unceremoniously and left to rot in the dirt.

"dead to the last man, martyrs"  He is sure to include such in his report.

"It will be done," Skull Admiral Kato Ena replied to his aging cousin the Shugo as he prepares to escalate the campaign. Already it seemed like the enemy supply lines had been thwarted as naked mole men were sent in the place of the Dwarven legion. How things have changed compared to six-hundred years ago when Ishikawa Kais had fought alongside the Emperor.
