"The Dark grows where we least expect it, it is on us to vanquish it with the Light of GOD." Said one William of Curon

A Petran nobleman, descended of hunters, glances over the Imperial missive delivered to his laboratory. After having to hear about vampires popping out of every nook and cranny of the lands, both in East and West… “It is a shame about the children. Though consequences are necessary, are they not?” He muses, feeling swayed in favor of drastic measures. “These creatures only seem to learn through fear.”

The Idunian Marine nodded at the missive, absorbing the information with a determined look in her eyes.
"Forsooth. It's unfortunate that such a creature integrated themselves amongst us so casually. Yet, it is only commendable and honorable that the Crown takes both the blame and the duty to correct its mistakes."
She stood up, folding the missive neatly and placing it aside to return to training.
"I will contribute as much as I can. To purge the dark from these lands. Ave Imperium. Forsooth."

Finding the missive on her trip through the crown lands Astrid would be surprised at the mention of children "Can... Can they even be vampires?"

Joka, the Genius Jester, Master of clowns, the luckiest theater kid (merely an undead servant) went to his darkstalker clown companion "Look!" He put the missive in front of the warrior's face "They mentioned US! Funny! That Empire is dangerous indeed... It's as if our powers, weapons and superior strenght didn't work there! Gyeh he he he..." He covered his mouth, before going to spin away, stopping as he went to put a hand on his chest, dramatically raising the other towards the sky "They're so so boring too... After all... What is more important than drama and aesthetic... Hu hu hu hu..."

The imperial elf would be speaking to a silversmith, discussing with them a replacement for the broken chain of the vampiric baron’s lily cross. What was once his, now belonged to Lucis, his trophy of the battle fought alongside his Lord, Corswain.

The old dwed chuckled at the missive then sent one of the ghoul with a scribbled note to the young Felix

"The Empra'h, really lacks an eye for the art"

He then gazed outside the bell tower at yet another dumb brigade screaming and crawling under the Sepluchre's doorstep.

This is not a shelter for the homeless why do they keep comming here?
Does empire not care about the wellfare of its subjects?

He pondered, then retired into his chamber. Perhaps his former teacher and his ghouls finally began to act on his mind.

"Never drag children into this. . . Never."
This missive struck a hard nail into the creature's abyssal heart, the memory of his child and his wife flashing by him as he stares at his memonto Mori, the creature's eyes softly watered, yet that was the water of the broken ceiling leaking the rain water onto his blackened skull, withered away from near decades of existence in the ground.

"Never the children. . ."

"If zhe Emperor himself can fall victim to zhe deception of zhese creatures, one vould have hoped he might show any mercy to his fellow Men." Lukas von Theonus says to his sister. "Surely zhey could just test zhe Anjou children, instead of slaughtering zhem on sight. Despicable." The word is spit out as he cuts into his breakfast a little more violently.
