The Lord Marshal of Azuras took one last glimpse down at the city from his high tower in the mighty red keep. There were no lands from which they could march, no more battles needing to be won.

 

His eyes glanced over the city, and he and the Emperor built a mighty stone fortress.

He remembered the Jungle War, the Crusades he launched that saw the Pertinax claim their place in the sun.

 

He remembered the battles of long ago, and of recent, his time here was finished, his presence no longer needed- and he took flight.

 

The Smiling-Sun looked over the lands he intended to control, he would follow in the footsteps of other Knights, of his Lord Emperor who saw him Knighted, of heros of old, and he smiled.
