"Hail the Chief of Chiefs!"

The Reinmaren cried

"Victory to the faithful and of GOTT's chosen!"

Theodemar resolved, truly a new era was upon them.

Roger sat enthroned within the Seven Skies, a martyr of his faith. Upon the Savoyard throne he lingered, a gaze lowered upon humanity itself, until alas he rose from his seat. The Rouennais Prince gave a firm nod of acknowledgement to the Emperor of Azuras.

Far below, upon the continent of Azuras, Yrun lingered in the valley of Rhunskar at the edge of failure. His blue eyes gazed onto the mountain, where dark plumes of smoke crawled up the sky. His hand rose to his cloak, pulling the hood low to shadow his face. The Ireheart had no more words for nothing could be said for what had been lost. Turning away from the smouldering peak, Yrun wandered off in pursuit to regather with his kin.

Caius knelt before his bed during his nightly prayers. He couldn't grasp what he'd be one day, but he sought guidance; and more often than not, he received it. He prayed for the World to Smile ☺.

"Emperor of Azuras, tell me a tale, for what is a title worth when its bearer lies in the dust?" A passerby sneered at the grandiose self-proclamation.

Prince Titus recieved the missive via a runner as he patrolled the Trostine Woods. As he gazed over the parchment, he gave an approving nod before dissapearing into the thrush, in search of Iblees and his kin.

Just now, DarkxWalker said:

"Emperor of Azuras, tell me a tale, for what is a title worth when its bearer lies in the dust?" A passerby sneered at the grandiose self-proclamation.

An inquisitor made mental note of this egregious comment.

The daughter of the Emperor, Pontia, accompanied by ladies dressed in deep burgundy procured the document from lush quarters in the Imperial Palace. "Oh!" she cooed, a rather subdued reaction for such an occasion.

“Ave Imperium.” Aviel Roy intoned, his voice rippling over the waters that surrounded his ship, The Menagerie. His ocean-hued gaze looking out across the waters that the whole of the Empire encompassed, ginger hair dance in the maritime wind like flame. “May this time last as long as God intends.”

Ser Leif Whitewood glanced down at the conquered Azuras from the seven skies, remembering when he was just a boy and living in the Kingdom of Balian. The world felt so small then.

"Why do we have to leave? I want to stay here!" he protested back when he didn't understand the motive behind his Father's exile and The Holy League's advance.

"May everyone find peace, at last." he muttered

Vesryn was reading in the Sunlit Sanctum when a Crow landed on his shoulder to deliver the missive. The Initiate put down his book as he set it to the side. Reading over it, the text almost didn't feel real as memories flashed through his mind like a flash potion.

"Maybe peace can be a lasting thing for once. I'm so tired of fighting."

The Baroness of Owynsburg, garbed in the blackened silks of mourning, pulled her daughter Dorothea close. A peck was pressed to the child's brow. The war begun in her youth had at last been brought to its end, and so Humanity did reign across the entire continent.

Elsbeth reads the news, perhaps a bit confused. "Azuras for the Humans by the looks of it, guess the elves, the beastfolk, the musin, the orcs, the dwarves, the halflings and everyone else is s'pposed to just fock off i guess." The Halfling shrugs.

The Tawantinsuyin let the last note of his song and andean string thrum into Koda's hearing, the sound soft as wind over high stone when the courier burst through the flaps of their tent with dust on his lips and pride in his eyes. Kusi was on his feet in an instant, Koda rising beside him like a drawn blade.

"Is it over?" Koda asked.

Kusi's mouth curved, not in mirth but in the reliance of the shared knowing of his elders.
"Over? Ari—for today. Tomorrow, some king will think he knows better.

"All of Azuras..." pondered the young(est) Duncan Baruch, before concluding that was a lot of land. He seemed thoroughly impressed.

Hannibal Valerian overheard palace workers discussing his grandfathers newest decree, muttering quietly to himself, "Long live the Empire." The youth then set off again, aimlessly wandering through the palaces halls.
