I love the mystery behind this guild! :D Almost as if the guild is secretive, and the members are not to be trifled with. I WANT to complete a task, even if I get accepted without it. I'm gonna go find some mages!

Not necissarily, arcane is basically defined as 'known and/or understood by only a few' so one would assume adding magic to the end only adds this to the definition 'magic only known and/or understood by a few'.
