Oi orcs..... I have met many of your warriors and I have come to a conclusion that our two races are not that different. We both love war and gloating about it ! Why not let us control the kings road together and fight the races who thinks their better then anyone else !!! Dammed humans have always been trouble for the dwarves and orcs !

OOC: Guys, I'm truly surprised. I'm not trying to force players to do something they don't want to... I was under the impression the orcs enjoyed war. I suppose you players simply don't abide by that.

In fact, I did this at the suggestion of Craotor and Urara, and I volunteered as a player willing to RP a role, not as a GM. All existing orcs are either already in a different clan or didn't step forwards, so I apologize for "meddling in your affairs".

The plan made sense: The son of a highly respected shaman has visions from the ancestral spirit of Dom, and so he wishes to restore the honor of his fallen clan in the way orcs no best: beating people up. I'm not going to determine the fate of the wars or give you guys special help because I'm a GM; sometimes GMs actually enjoy roleplaying, too.

And the whole "We both love ale thing"... Are you guys serious? Click The Lore on the main page and you will find:

You guys both love fighting each other! I'm disappointed that you'd forget. Halflings love ale, too. That hasn't stopped you from eating them.

If you guys are in favor of cancelling this, then by all means, you can kill my character off in a public riot or something. I have better things to do than waste my limited RP time trying to create logical events and roleplay for those who don't want it.

Petyr, the problem isn't the idea itself, it's how you tried to do it. Your "orc" is literally a nobody. Your character (with no status at all) is declaring shamanistic visions. Now if you had stepped into Krugmar and started gathering orcs for "fun raids" on Urguen. Pillaging and looting a few Dwarf settlements; then you would have been building up heat for a fire. This would also have put this no-name character in a good position of respect (through their acts). It would also have made a lot more sense if you went down this route. Your character would be in a position to say "We're easily taking things from the Dwarves, what's stopping us from just marching into their land and taking even more?" The biggest problem is your character is a nobody claiming shamanistic visions, and then outright declaring war. Think of it from an in-character perspective, no sane orc would follow you. My own character has claimed to have visions from Krug himself. But i don't expect other orcs to believe him.

(My character just doesn't want to.fight the orcs as he.has gained some good friends. Now yeah the lore said that but the players made peace so that should be changed. If orcs go to war with the dwarves so be it. I like racial tension and we need a good war. But why the orcs and dwarves why not.human and elves ? Keep your mind open to some cool events or wars that could happen..... also my ale thing was a joke as crator and me.had a good drink together rp wise )

((Mostly because young orcs hear the tales of the great war the Orcs had with the Dwarves. This makes them (in character) want to relive the glory.))
