Combined with the betrayal of one of our own, Malinor was caught totally unprepared by this slaughter. Praise goes out to our proud citizens that took up arms with whatever they could grab to defend our homeland. And our hearts go out to the fallen and their families.

This does serve a purpose as all things do. It shows just where our weaknesses are as a people. We can now correct those mistakes as we rebuild. The fallen will not have done so in vain. Vengeance and justice will come to fruition, that much is certain.
