Player of the Week - Susitsu/Lucas Black

Evil yet adorable, Lucas Black is our player of the week! Always wandering around the forums and always lending a hand in OOC! Congratulations Lucas!

Do you remember the first time you step foot in aegis?

Lucas

Yeah, was just a few days after July which I just so happen to be terrible with months of the year so I have no clue which month that was.

Haha I know the feeling, When you joined, did the server match your expectations? Did it match what you had read or was it better than it sounded?

Really exceeded them, this threat of the undead and the fight for survival against these oncoming monsterous beings really added an intense sense to things, it really made things seem so alive and there was so much to do in the world with all these variations of characters. Oh, and lets not forget the many many subconflicts that happened all in the middle of this.

Comparing from when you joined and now, do you like how Aegis has 'evolved'?

Lucas

Unlike a lot of people, I like every aspect of RP and enjoy all the losses and victories of it, so Ive enjoyed every change whether it be for the better or for the worse, so I can gladly say it has really gone in a good direction.

How do you think you character 'Lucas' That I know you as, has evolved from when you first 'made' him up to now?

Well, as a small handful of people know, I actually started out with the name "Shen", he had a lack of emotion and even hid his face with a mask because of his dislike for even associating himself with other people, which compared to now he is quite the socializer and has a very interesting personality and with this it makes many fun rp situations. My character is really almost nothing like who he was when he was first brought into the world of Aegis.

Yes, he is definatly sociable and adorable haha! What do you think of the community of LOTC as a whole?

As a whole, not thinking of all the individual parts of it, it's a very enjoyable group of people and I have actually made friends with a large number of people via the forums and the ooc chat in-game.

What do you think, if anything, we could change in LOTC?

All I have really ever found displeasure in is the complaining and the lack of control the players have over the story of Aegis. The complaining over dying is just overboard ESPECIALLY when it was a very well RPed death yet they still complain when they should be glad they got to have that fun with getting into some interesting rp even if it led to their death. As for the lack of control, events should be much less storybooked and should be more of a "anything can happen" scenario instea of kicking players from the server for talking during an event, it makes it seem as if it's not even for the players, it's for the writers own enjoyment which isn't what LotC is about.

What do you think, personally, is the most intersting thing you have seen one person do while in RP?

Oh, now that's a hard one...I can't pin this to one occasion, but it's how many times that people who were my friends while I had turned good have let me go even with the things Ive done. It really adds good RP that these old friends of mine won't even hurt me, and vice versa most the time. Its' really every occasion that this happens that I find to be the most interesting, but the one I would go with most is when Shoi and Safen first found out I had switched sides once more by seeing me at Wraths Clutch. Shoi blinked onto the wall and even after two people there had forcd another to eat someone else, she did not attack me and only surveyed. I bet later I allowed Safen in to look around for them and he complied to going in alone trusting the fact that we're friends. It's all these occasions where me, a killer, is trusted by good people with their lives.

What do you think is your greatest achievement in LOTC?

I would say...this is gonna be more of multiple categories. Doing good would be becoming close to the Ascended and really enjoying my time with the FoA. Evil would be the undead wanting me and causing a massive battle in Galahar alongside you, Cataris, Rilath, Auzem, and Lynx. A bit jokingly would be being the cutest on the server and having everyone be pretty much be in love with me :P

You love me to much to do that~ Ive gotta say, I didn't see this coming at all and I thank the LotC community for giving me such a wonderful experience! To all of you: <3

Lucas! Congratulations! Although I'm a little sad that you didn't mention me for favourite RP experience..But no matter! I am still very happy for you Lucas!
