Battle of Galahar:

Human Victory

Odds: 1 - 1

Humans and Drwarfs vs. Orcs and Elves

*events detailed from the first person view of Royal Aide of King Enor, Throdo Therving...*

In the early afternoon in Al'khazar, I was managing my tavern. At first, I have heard nothing of an attack soon to come. Later came my old friend Ser Braxis Silverblade. He was blind though but still had his wits. He came in my tavern and had warned me if a soon to happen battle, at Galahar. Reports of orcish battle tribes were on their way to it now. I ready my gear and we both set off.

I arrive there about half a day's travel and got there at dark. No sign of struggle yet however. About 15 men were already there. Some on the walls with bows, most on the ground, eager to fight. Then we've gotten reports of Elvish battle parties aiding the orcs coming. Then, they arrived...

((OOC: I think screenshots show exact opposite, I think a successful infiltration of the Military base directly south of Galahar and a flanking of Enor and Thorik's forces when they tried to move into Sanjezal actually shows that victory was more leaning on the Orc/Elven side. :) ))

- Note, Alras is Neutral, do not attempt a lie. Thank You.

((we had a perfect plan for the orcs when they attacked Al'Khazar. Too bad native called the war off. Hammer and anvil baby, hammer and anvil.))

(Wait *motions to a replay of the Battle of Galahar* you wanted to copy our idea? :P Honestly we did not want to attack Al'Khazaar, only reason we went in was to see the people freak and try and hit us in No-PvP)

((Gaius, i didn't know that you did hammer and anvil, I was only at the battle after you left. The only good battlefield strategies in MC is hammer and anvil. You can't do testudo [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testudo_formation]or phalanx , because we have no shields. You can't do ranks, because its hard to line people up. You can't do the ring because people can literally just run through it. So hammer and anvil is the only thing you really can use. Or ambushes, those work too.

Agreed. We intended to flank Enor outside of the Galahar Base, but then ran into pugsy and Lodrick and proceeded to kill Lodrick for trying to kill my men in the beginning of the battle and then by that time, Enor had wanted to instead go straight at Sanjezal.

((Honestly, I want an honest account of the battle, because no offense: That was no victory for the Orenfolk today))

((no victory on our lands, but we helped the dwarfs win theirs. Remember: we don't retreat, we just advance in the other direction.))

(Err... I say that taking of the Galahar Barracks Castle was indicant of a victory and if we follow by your adage, your advance on Sanjezal was thwarted by the Teutonic Order...)
