Deleted User 009 0 Share Posted December 4, 2011 Hey Aegis, This benefit has actually been in-game for a while now, but it’s been cleaned up a bit more. Normal players can only have up to 18 characters in their /setname. ALL LEVELS of VIP’s can now have unlimited length on their character nick names. I’ve added this benefit to the donation center as well :). Also, I’ve blacklisted the ‘&’ character from names. If you login and had a & in your name, you will be forced to reset it. This is because as cool as it may look on spout craft, it looks god awful on vanilla minecraft and makes it seem like our server chat is broken. Thanks for your understanding. I admit, I did like them at first, then spout crashed on my and lagged my everything, and I ALWAYS picked on them for using colors. So thanks. And now my name can be longer. I met a few people in game who were trying to be 'cool villains' by having individual colors for each letter of their name. Nothing like looking through two lines of @#$%^&*(#$%^&*#$%^&*@#%$^&*@(#&*@(%#$#@^&*$%*($^% to try and dig out the individual letters to find out who's saying what. I'm happy for this change. Srsly.
