Entering the grounds with Ezekial'Tarus spying him for his facial expressions, Gaius walks into the sparse company in the room and shuts the door behind him. After a long conversation, Ezekial'Tarus and Gaius Marius shake hands and leave to go forth to Ezekial'Tarus's crowning as Gaius watches and leaves with the King of the Western Biumvirate to meet people in Galahar and gauge the reactions of the people. Relieved that their burying of hatchets had brought much appraisal, they declare terms of the Biumvirate.

Terms of the Biumvirate

- Signed off collectively by both Ezekial'Tarus, King of the Phoenix Faction and Hochmeister Gaius Marius, King of the Realm of Hanseti.

1. Citizens, Militias, and Supporters of either the PF or the RoH cannot attack each other with slanderous publication or aggression physically.

2. Zibaen Vivyaen is the emissary between the PF and the RoH. I will receive him with respect and so will Tarus.

3. In the instance of an outside threat, diplomacy will be preferred, but when events turn for worse tides, the Biumvirate will assist each other militarily.

4. Diplomatically, the Biumvirate will carry the alliance with both Dwarves and Orcs. With this in mind, Tarus and Gaius have agreed that they will stay completely neutral of the two allies are to go to war.

- Please Note: Send Birds (I will accept Forum Messages in this case) to Gaius if you wish to become a citizen of the Realm of Hanseti and signs are posted directing people towards the capital of Konigsberg.

And so the divide.

Is there anything left of what we once called Oren?

As the two kings spruiked the terms of the new "biumvirate" to the Galahar populace, Pontus pondered the magnitude of this decision. Could power be divided between two men in a single kingdom? On one hand, the Pheonix Faction could be considered the true continuation of the Kingdom of Oren, having leaders and institutions that served and existed in the old kingdom. However, gaining their power through rebellion made their reign seem illegitimate. Gaius and the Realm of Hanseti, on the other hand, could be considered the true continuation of Oren's kings; having received his title from the former king, Enor. Many people opposed his reign, though, citing his actions against Old Oren as their reason.

Pontus took his leave from the town and sat down beside a monument between Galahar and New Terriko. Tapping a rhythmic tune on his helmet, he thought through each point of the agreement and came to a quick conclusion; the first and fourth terms would be broken.

In a town like Galahar, fresh from rebellion, die-hard demagogues and jacobins would be rife throughout it; yelping radicalist sermons to the crowds. One sided debates would reign supreme. Having a policy of neutrality seemed impossible. Both sides had strong ties with opposing forces in the latest war. If conflict broke out again, it would only be a matter of time before either faction joined in, out of honour, passion or simple spite.

Having felt it was time to end his short exile, Pontus pulled himself from the monuments sandy base and walked back into the streets of Galahar. One thought occupied his thoughts during his trek: When Gaius returned to Konigsberg, would Tarus and his cohorts abide by the terms when Gaius wasn't watching? Would war break out again?

Deep in thought, Pontus walked straight into a signpost and, out of suprise, it felled him like an oak. Grumbling and damning the terrible vison his iron helm gave him, he examined the sign. Though having poor reading skills, Pontus could still make out its lettering; that of directions to the Teutonic capital, Konigsberg. In the end, everyone would have to take sides. Pontus looked back at Galahar, then again towards the signpost. Why did nationalism have to be so damn hard?
