*Royal Engineer Kalen Forseth steps upon the top of the gates of Alras and addresses the citizens of Alras with a calm level face that shows no emotion. The entire speech is oddly calm considering the topic, and the people slightly wonder about Kalen.*

"Citizens of Alras, I speak to you now on the Topic of the Alrasian-Dwarven war which recently occurred a fortnight or so ago. This all began with a event in the Cathedral of Alras involving Urir Ireheart, Arch Druid Delfyr, and Alrasian Minister of Games, Elessar Silverblade. Urir Ireheart and Delfyr were engaged in a argument that erupted into fighting between the two. Elessar ordered the two to desist, and take it elsewhere, as Elessar was planning a Dancing Competition on the cathedral.

When both Delfyr and Urir ignored him, he pushed both to make them pause in their combat for a little bit and listen. Urir, Being a Ireheart, took this as a duel. He then proceeded to attack and kill Elessar, a council member, in cold blood. There was no possibilty that Elessar would have know this before hand. Urir then, from reports, killed 2, possibly 3 guards, and four citizens.

Several weeks later, we discovered Urir in Alras, and asked him to remove his armor. He did so, and we realized it was him. Punishment for killing a Council member is death, so we asked him to follow us. As we were talking, a goblin ran up, and urinated upon Urir, the latter flying into a rage, and chasing the goblin in between Brayden Roze's manor, and Kara'Kungor.

Urir killed the goblin, and we promptly followed. We attempted to arrest Urir Ireheart, who then flew into a rage once more, and killed Elessar for a second time. A fight broke out between him and an elf named Airion, and during the middle of this, a Ascended named Ellser Galleon was trying to escape the conflict, and was slaughtered by Urir's crazed axe-wielding. A citizen, trying to be helpful, attempted to restrain Urir, but was killed as well.

After this Urir turns to me, and states "Your one of them to, I'll have your head!" I fled, as I am to weak to lift a blade, axe, or bow, better suited for my studies in redstone and structure design. Urir returned to Kal'urguan.

In total, The crimes of Urir in Alras added up to:

Killing a council member twice. Punishment: Death

Killing 2-3 guards. Punishment: Incarceration, with fine.

Killing 5 citizens. Punishment: Incarceration, with fine.

Threatening a council member with death. Punishment: Long Incarceration, with heavy fine.

Resisting Arrest. Punishment: Heavy Fine.

All punishments were and are only subject to Alrasian Land.

All this were crimes against Alras, but the crime that brought the Ascended involvement and siding with Alras in this war was the death of one of their own. Should Ellser Galleon not have died, they would have been neutral throughout the fight.

Earlier, Kjell Ireheart had also committed crimes in Alras, stealing from High Constable Wyvernos' house and damaging Alrasian Private property.

I myself proceeded to take a trip to Kal'Urguan with Minister of Games Elessar to tell Urir about this in good faith, that if he came to Alras again, he would be attacked by the guards with intent to kill. Knowing Urir's strength, I would also tell him that they would attack in numbers well armed and prepared.

As we were preparing to leave for Kal'Urguan, High Queen and Preceptor Shoi asked to accompany us. Knowing that Urir was dangerous, and may attempt to attack us while in Kal'Urguan, I asked some guards to accompany us, and to not stop until we spoke to Thorik, as every moment was dangerous, due to the threat he had made.

We came unto the castle, and left our guards outside, and began to speak with Thorik. I stated what happened to him, and let him do as he pleased with the dwarves under his command. Thorik asked us if we wanted to state a grudge, but the High Queen said no, we did not. We merely came to inform. We leave after a while and return to Alras.

High King Syrio Forel heard of these events, and decided that Urir and Kjell Ireheart should not go unpunished for their crimes against Alras, and dips into his pockets to offer a 100,000 minas bounty on both of their heads. Urir and Kjell proceeded to come to Alras, and attempted to take the life of our High King. The guards retaliate and push the Irehearts out of Alras to King's road, and then the Braveaxes come and begin to fight the guards. This continues to devolve, and eventually both sides break away, and return to their respective nations.

A while later Grand King Thorik arrives and informs us the Dwarves are declaring war upon us, and will be there soon to destroy us.

We prepare the defenses, and the battle comes. The war escalates until a few important figures escape from the castle, and flee Alras. Alras was retaken with much fighting, and here we are today.”

This Urir should be slaughered and a manhunt be given we should march into kalurgan and take this menace from the world

((Well said Kalen))

No. Alras will not retaliate against the dwarves. We are still holding our peaceful stand upon wars of Aegis.

A hooded man in the crowd mutters to himself, in disgust.

This is what caused the bloodshed of my friends? My brothers-in-arms? What branded me as a traitor to the state?

These bastards shan't go unpunished.

Funny, seeing you stormed our Castle.

We never stormed your castle.

From what I have heard, it was a privately owned and managed group that took advantage of your absence to take over your city. Alras had no part in that.

I'm not speaking of that incident, though it is odd a Alrasian leader distracts us as they Invade. I mean how the Magician Syrio came into our castle, and brought dozens of shouting Guards. That was a insult, to myself, and the Dwarven Nation on a whole.

(( I wasn't online when Perceptor Shoi, and a group of members from the Ascended came to talk to Thorik pertaining to matters between the "Ascended" and "Kal'Urguan". I was working, and I was forced to log on, I was told that a ruckus was occuring in Kal'Urguan and some Dwarves were misinterpreting the Ascended for an Alrasian warband. I then proceeded to Kal'Urguan, by the time I got there the Ascended have left, and I was walking over the bridge to the keep. I blackscreened. So I tried to log on again, immediately black-screened due to a corrupted chunk. This happened for 10 more times, I then had Chrisdena teleport me out of Kal'urguan, I then started heading back towards Kal'Urguan; I tried to walk in one more time, and I black screened so; as soon as I logged back on again I compassed through the gate to try to get myself out of the corrupted chunk, and atleast able to continue RP. I then was bombarded with people saying I am a horrible person and that I do not know how to RP. I explained my situation and was told again to walk back through the gate; I could not as I would've black-screened. From this moment on, I was told RP was over and that Alras will be destroyed. The Dwarves had no just reason to slaughter a bunch of innocent merchants, whilst Princess Indelwehn and I were just sitting back and screaming for people to stop the mindless violence as the Dwarves were killing people who weren't even attacking back. The event was an insult to the server and it showed how unorganized the RP is on this server; which isn't a good thing. I went to Thorik 4 times to ask him to setup a summit at least, or to at least discuss terms of agreement for the war to allow the RP event to be entertaining for both sides he said no; then proceeded to say "You die now". Their were multiple reasons why the Dwarves attacked, including Marie getting herself involved in the Lore as it's being formed by the players, that isn't game mastering by the way, I did have a problem with that; but that is not what this is about. The other reasoning is because the Ireheart clan controls Kal'Urguans military, they would've overthrown Thorik if he did not attack us and he knew it. I do not blame Thorik for attacking, but I do blame Thorik for not having a handle on his people. And many do not know the reasoning for me placing a bounty on Goldrims head, it is because he came into Alras; slaughtered 13 people including an Ascended which Alras had to step in and defend them as we are the current nation that is harboring them, I even asked him what his reasoning behind the attacks were and here just stated his character was "insane". If you wish to see the footage of Lord of the Battlecraft, it is located here http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/33078-the-battle-of-alras-all-ooc/ . I hope this clears some unanswered questions up, if you wish to know further you may discuss it with me as it seems all of the Dwarves believe Alras attacked them which isn't even remotely close to what occured. ))

Funny, seeing you stormed our Castle.

Funny, your men calling us corrupt when you have criminals and bandits in your government's ranks. Also, we didn't storm your castle, Shoi and her guards wished to speak to Throik. Also, why are we in the wrong? Urir killed more than 6 people in Alras.

Peace does need to be made. Both sides need their leaders to meet in secret and make a treaty. This will prevent the possibility of one side kidnapping the other side's leader.

((One thing, it was the Blackaxes that were outside of Alras, defending the Irehearts, the Braveaxes only got involved a bit later.

Also Syrio, Kjell and Urir have no interest in taking over Thorik's position, the final reason that made Thorik declare war was to avoid a split in the government. Urir only actually fought back because he knew he'd be executed if he didn't.

I also see no references to the corruption or the fact that the UAC and Ascended have basically become the military of Alras. I'm sorry but this attack was entirely justified in the eyes of most Dwarves, I don't understand how it's not obvious. If you didn't want a war with Kal'Urguan, you shouldn't have put a bounty on a Grand Councillor or kicked us out of the UAC, basically showing the undead that the Ascended wouldn't help us.))

((Not anymore. At first, the UAC comprised most of the army once they joined. However, once we sifted through, removed all the inactives and accepted the good applicants, we outnumber the UAC now. And I'd say the caliber is just as good.))

((to many axes... Sorry, thought the only clan was Braveaxes, not the Blackaxes. I'll see if I can fix.

And my charater does not know what your doing this for. He has not heard anything of corruption, and if he was told of this, he would stare at the person stating it and say "Is that all? It's called profit. Alras is founded on the goal of seeking profit. This is nothing."

We did not want war on Kal'Urguan, we put a bounty on Kjell aswell due to the fact he destroyed our nation property and robbed a council member. We wished for him to be brought to justice with his crazed rampaging.))

((One tip for writing. In LOTC it's like real life, you can only die once. When you go to the monks you were just very badly injured. It doesn't make sense to say that someone was murdered twice. Anyway, I heard that ICly(obviously) Syrio put a bounty on a council member of Urugan just because of what one of his fellow clan-members did so that...annoyed...the Dwarves IC.))
