VonEbs 1224 Share Posted December 23, 2011 I feel like that elven society is lacking somewhat in the regard of the lack of defined houses. I think that elves would keep track of their ancestors and their accomplishments, being such a long lived race. Houses, Noble or otherwise, would be a central par of elven society. I found a page on another game wiki that is similar to what I have in mind for forming houses, as it allows free will and choice. Elven Houses Please, leave your opinions below. EDIT: Perhaps make it so only Gold VIP's and Above can establish houses? maybe you could choose the houses on the rp skills, like if they are good rpers you could ask them to become a house. something like that? Priest Bryce Grimson 5 Share Posted December 23, 2011 I have longed to join/start a house, and yes a GOLD VIP is making it a pay to play, that is why they took out giving you minas for donating. I think that the houses now are geared to everyone but elves. My idea is to make the houses more real. Not just a guild. The current houses are just like clubs, you join, there is maybe 5 people in the house, and thats it. There is no more to that story. I think there should be, not a lot of houses, and each one has a SMALL village around it. The village could be a milita, and give houses more of an impact in wars. You could make it so house leaders/owners are part of a lesser council too, make them real. The lore would be greatly expanded and give a more rp feel! Just my opinion, let me hear what you think! Jon Evaglno 202 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Methinks the server is a tad too young for real houses to be established. Isn't a house essentially a family? If the server went on for a longer time, there could be houses established by people who have children, such as Deltaro(adopted daughter who bears the same last name). Then again, a whole lot of people are all "Elves no have babies! POWERGAMIN'!!" That whole fiasco would have to be sorted out before houses get serious. Noble houses could be easily established through three easy steps: 1.Noble gets married, 2.Noble couple has childrens, 3. Child(ren) grows/grow up and repeats/repeat cycle. I think Indelwehn was in the process of doing this, except her children keep dying. If she could keep them alive, she'd already have a house. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
bungo 3965 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Houses can be established, but will not have the same purpose as houses in Human society. Houses will not have any political power as we have a Council. Anyone can make a house although you just need players role-playing the family members. Making VIP 50 would be a stupid idea, some of the greatest role-players cannot donate and then what, they will be left out to create a family?
