Ferro looks over the parchment, nodding slightly while reading the note. Finishing it, he pulls a large leaf off the ground, using the stem in conjunction with some Ink to write onto the provided Sheepskin.

"I am Ferro Hollowstone, right now, I've been living in a stark, small, tree. Not the most comfortable of homes, but it's done well, atleast whenever it's not storming. With this, I would be glad to receive directions to a more suitable location for one such as myself."

His mind dozing off, Ferro begins doodling on the other parts of the skin, before realizing that he needs to send the letter off. Reaching up and unfastening one of the cage hatches, and retrieving a small raven, he ties the note onto it's foot with some of his spare fishing string, then non-so gracefully throws it into the air. Trusting it's been trained to go wherever these messages are supposed to be delivered.

Settling down to write under a huge tree

My friends, it seems the time has come for us halflings to go back the way it used to be when we didn't mix with others you can find me by asking around for Till Deepdelver

He ties the letter to a raven and has the bird fly away to find the writer of the note

Noticing the small cage of ravens, his curiousity gets the better of him. He walks up and picks up the note, reading it out to himself. After finishing he rumages around in his bag and pulls out an ink bottle then dips a stray feather into it to write.

"Glad to hear there'll be a new town, mighty odd these tall folks are. I hope this message gets to you in good time for I'm wishing to become part of this community."

He quickly finishes scribbling the words down and gently picks up one of the ravens proceeding to tie the sheepskin on it's foot with a piece of string. Letting the bird fly away he smiles to himself, "You stay safe now."

*Dash Rogers watches the curious orc. From a far, he sees the big oaf think for a moment, then he takes something out of a sack which looks like a bird, but is clearly fake. Dash sees the orc write something on it, then toss it into the air off os his two hands put together as if it was a bird perched there and released to fly. His strength gives the object a lot of air but soon enough it just plops down o the ground not far from the scene. The orc then goes around to each of the blatantly obvious traps and throws 3-8 grass blades on them.*

*While sipping on a mug of ale, Belba stumbles across the cage. She carefully takes the note and reads the news that it held. Done reading she lets a smile of her face, takes another sip and sits down in the tall green grass. She takes a quill along with some paper and begins to write an response:

My fello' halflin' it is wit' great joy an' excitement that i respon' to this!

Long hav' i been livin' with thes' elves an' i haven seen a fello' halflin' fer a long time!

Until we meet, i will be at the tavern along with my ale!

*The letter is sealed with a emblem that resembles a needle and a thread*

Bungo, curiously looking around spots a cage full of ravens with a message attached. He looks at the message and realizes he can't read anything. He squints harder and then he says.

"I can't read a damn thing. Seems like I gotta' find sumone who can read this piece 'o paper."

He then wanders off, looking for the closest person to assist him in reading the paper. He finds an elf and the elf helps Bungo read the message. Bungo, overjoyed that there are more of his kind grabs a raven and the elf writes a note for Bungo. The note reads,

Hello, I am "Bungo". I would like to join your little village of Halflings and help you with building. I am currently at the elves, I would need some directions to your village"

Bungo observes the letter, he sighs and states that they are "Good 'nuff." even though he doesn't know what he says and sends the raven off with his letter. He then gives the elf a sack of wheat in return.

*Kaliphiter Jumps through the trees and notices a cage with birds in it, Approaches, wondering who put the birds there, still in the tree Kaliphiter grabs a branch and weighs it down so he is still hanging above the ground, and reads the note*

"Ah, finally a place for halflings, I indeed need to take a part of this."

*Kaliphiter then swings back up into the tree and pulls out some paper and an Ink Pen, Then starts writing*

Hello, my name is Kaliphiter and I would like to be a part of your town, the Mori have bothered me enough for now. Obviously I would need directions there, but other than that I would love to have another home, one with more of my own kind... So, I would like to join your town.

*Kaliphiter then grabs a bird and ties the note to it's leg with a string and throws it off hoping for a fast reply*

*I take a piece of parchment and tie it round the birds leg. Upon it reads:

Hello Petyr, my name is Ferebrill. I, like you, am a halfling. I saw your note an knew that I must write at once. I would dearly love to know where this dwelling for us halflings is. I would love to meet other halflings instead of these tall folk. If your wondering why you should tell me where it is, the reason is that I always wished to build a tavern/inn and accepting me would bring one to the dwelling of the halflings.

((I would really like to find this town one day... although I do not know where to start in rp to get the information to travel there.))

[[i doubt that a halfling would give you information to the town's whereabouts. Or they would be severely beat with shovels...]]
