_pok_ 1768 Share Posted February 7, 2012 Conquest Opposing Faction: The Realm of Hanseti and Orcs Defending Faction: Kingdom of Renatus Name of the battle: Battle of The Renatus Foothills Location [must be the specific region/biome you wish to conquer]: [[The das_boot region outside the entrance to Hanseti.]] The small rolling hills located to the north of the entrance of Hanseti. Time, (at least 5 days warning): If the “Empire” of Renatus cannot prove that their new government is effective and not a threat to the world, the combined powers of Hanseti and the Orcs will be brought down on Renatus swiftly. The Empire has one and one-half years warning [5 days] and if no improvements are shown, it will be the beginning of the end of this “Empire.” [[sunday February 12, 2012]] Terms: Free-for-all - Best Weapons & Armor - No Gold Apples Allowed - No potions - No Enchanted Weapons and Armor Rewards [region/biome swaps ownership]: - The das_boot region ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RP Reasoning Long ago, before the shattering of the realm known as Aegis, the Phoenix Rebellion sought out to take control of the Oren throne. After tedious planning the rebellion succeeded in taking Galahar, the feudal town of Oren, and claiming it their new capitol in the new Kingdom of Renatus. This rebellion took place under the rule of his highness Hochmeister Gauis Marius of Oren. As the old ways of Oren crumbled beneath the power of the Phoenix Order, Gauis officially separated the kingdom into two, Hanseti and Renatus. Hanseti thrived in its capitol, Konigsberg, but harder times fell upon Renatus as the government struggled to find a foothold. As the years passed, Renatus was able to secure stability in its government and Hanseti continued to do well. Things changed for the worse when Gauis, Hochmeister of Hanseti, died as a result of old age. With the death of the old Hochmeister, Samuel Bealcrest became the new Hochmeister. Within weeks the knowledge of Gauis’s passing spread all over Aegis. In Renatus, their King Eze’Kiel Tarus, broke the alliance between men and prepared to reunite Oren and crush the Kingdom of Hanseti. The mighty army swept through the countryside, pillaging and raiding until finally they reached the walls of Konigsberg, Hanseti’s shining capitol. Fighting broke out immediately between the two mighty kingdoms, in the end Hanseti overcame Renatus with the aid of the Coaliton however the casualties of both sides were heavy. The scourge of the Undead overtook Aegis and the pioneers came to Asulon and began to settle in the ruins of once great civilizations. Renatus and Hanseti found themselves neighbors yet again and new a temporary treaty of peace would not last. Raiding broke out not long after the first ores were mined and the first piece of armor forged. The men of Renatus raided both small towns and peaceful nations who were fighting just to feed their own people. Word of their actions made way to Samuel and he knew he had no option but to end the purge once and for all. While Renatus was raiding and weakening ties with all of the nations Hanseti was hard at work strengthening old alliances and establishing new ones all of Asulan meeting on the battle field with Renatus several times over these years of preparation for war. The Orcs prepared to fight with Hanseti as the First Warlord Council came to a close. The Ugluk Warlord, Pok, pushed for assisting Hanseti out of honor. As the Orcs began to prepare for the war, so too did Renatus. Renatus armed its walls with more archers and prepared for an attack. Two battles were waged in the hills of Renatus where it came to a stalemate. As Hanseti prepared to lay siege to the city, Eze’kiel Tarus stepped down from the throne, giving it to his heir. The united powers now wait to see if this new government will succeed. If the government continues to let down the rest of Asulon, swift action shall be taken. We actually gave trade towns protection when they asked for it. The only attacks and raids we ever made were on Hansetian land because we're at war. But besides that, epic story and it will be a great war. I flamed because I'm annoyed at all the OOC lies and I didn't leave myself time to think.
