Imperial Edict Ii: The Knights And Magistry

*Reynard set down to write again a proclamation, yet this one as he writes it he hopes that those affected will understand. He writes it slowly and deliberately so that he may allow understanding for this decision*

It is ordered this day of the 23rd of Snows Maiden year nine after the destruction of our homeland, by Lord Reynard of the House Lycian, first of his name, Reagent of the Imperial Nation of Renatus that the Knights as they stand now are hereby disbanded. I do this with a heavy heart as I myself am a knight of the order and have earned that title no less than any other knight of my order.

I do this due to many of our knights assisting bandits in the terrible raids upon Salvus. However this means not that the knights are ever gone from our world. I ask all fellow knights of the order to return to the capital so that we may create ever a new order from the ashes and show true the knights of our land. Show that our knights are the pure valiant crusaders of justice and defenders of the weak and needy. All knights who wish to keep the rank and level of the order is asked to come to the Knights Manor in the capital so that we may be able to rebuild and renew our order like none other that has come to pass.

The knights shall be remade alongside its new peaceful brothers, The Magistry. The magistry is an order of peace, of education, and of medicine and other important needs of the nation. They shall lead in the construction of our Academy for the sake of all to come and learn the knowledge of old and the medicine of new. They shall help the weak and needy and assist in the way of the light. This shall be led by a High Magister who shall oversee the construction of the Order alongside me.

*finishes writing and hands it off once again to his good Scribe Josef. They both copy out the pages carefully together and they send them with ravens to the various leaders and various parts of Renatus*

Josef winces, seeing the stack of parchment that Reynard wants him to write out, but sits and gets to work. No one else is around, and he speaks after a short while.

This is yet another good idea, sire. It will certainly strengthen us from the inside, and make other nations see us in a more favourable light. Truly you possess the vision that Renatus needs so desperately.

Yes, this is what the nation needs. I agree with Reynard to the fullest. He has quite the pure vision for Renatus, I hope he prospers.
