The Construction Of The Opus Aegisium

Some people have thought about making a monument to Aegis, to commemorate a land lost and thousands dead. I have built a possible candidate for this monument, the Opus Aegisium. It is based off of this monument, a Croatian WWII monument:

In the center of it is a broken, fragmented shield (Aegis = shield) to represent it being lost 'beyond repair', behind which is glowstone, light. In the phrase "And in Ages Uncharted and Forgotten, the Land was Filled with Light.", Ages is a homophone to Aegis. So it actually reads "And in Aegis Uncharted and Forgotten, the Land was Filled with Light."

I would think it would depend on which Nation would be building it... But if this is a cross-race project, I have no idea... There isnt much "neutral" land besides out on islands far in the wilds.

Creat idea. Would "unite" the old aegisans (( or whatever you wanna call it ;) )) Maybe at the cloud district.

I agree --cloud Temple, or Cloud Forest would be a good idea for such a monument. You could even turn it into a Mausoleum for those who were born in Aegis --and lay them to rest there.

Perhaps it could be located in the center of a massive graveyard, for all those who died in Aegis.

This would be a great monument to have in Asulon. It fits rp and looks amazing.

I'd like it in Asulon. Though, the top sides, or wings, should be a bit farther down onto the ground, due to gravity.

That has to be one of the better monuments I have seen made in Minecraft. It would be a great way to honor Aegis!

I love the idea, a lot of work looks to have been put into this, too. I support this Ptah.
