Why not make them your slaves?

Because your rainbow infuriates me. I also dislike all of your suggestions, just kill them all and move on.

Gotta agree with that one, killing them all seems more funny x)

if we kill them all we get lots of power/meta gaming reports. trust me its easyer NOT to kill them all with half an hours of rp and still get accused of no rp kill.

I've been studying them for a time and they've grown on me. Assimilation is mandatory.

Can you provide any links or information on them? I haven't heard much of them at all, other than a previous thread in which it sounded like they were going ape-****.

I'm a total fan of tribesmen and natives. Before getting addicted to this server, I played an obscure text-based game where my primary character was a headhunting cannibal running around on an island full of natives, killing settlers. So yeah, if we can assimilate, that would be great.

Let's be sure to keep the OOC and meta-gaming out of it though. We'll see where this goes in-game. I'm just as likely to slaughter them all as I am to dance with them around a bonfire, waving machetes.

I fear no ban report, for I am brilliant and take screen shots. I maintain my views: Mass annihilation of all inferior races. The strong races will survive our genocidal wrath. If they survive our wrath, they deserve to join the War Uzg. If they succumb, then they were too weak to be of any worth.

... if we kill them all it just ruins the R.P.

boom they die, bang there dead. its over. much more interesting if we actually do something that will last more than 5 minutes.

Here's where I take issue: Blawharag doesn't care. He is a strength-oriented traditionalist Orc that believes non-Orcs are inherently weak. Weakness only burdens the world and must be culled in order for the world to prosper. On this note, Blawharag wishes to destroy any race that does not prove themselves as strong and contributing (keep in mind Blawharag, in an old-Orcish manner, perceives race by Ethnic groups rather than actual biology. In such a way he sees the Teutonic Humans as strong, but the Renati as weak. The former Wardens of the Elves as strong, but the rest of them as weak.). It's a policy that is ever present in Orcish society from birth, culling the weak children and letting only the strongest and minimally self sufficient grow into adulthood. Similarly, other races are subjected to the same treatment. Prove you are strong and you may survive, if you are weaker than us, you must die so you do not burden the world.

To be straight forward, if Blawharag didn't try and eliminate their race, it would be bad RP. There is nothing to indicate this new species is worth a damn. If they want to have a long and existing RP, then they would find someway to prove themselves as worthy of existing to the Orcs, prove themselves as being strong.

On an OOC level, this is also a beneficial thing. If I role up to this race and actively search for something that makes them unique and interesting, then they are actually contributing to the RP of LotC. If I can't find anything that makes this race worth a damn, than it is literally just another race for the sake of having another race, and that is absolutely garbage and just dilutes the RP of the server. "Hey what should we do today?" "I KNOW! Lets make another race." "Will this race be special? Maybe a race that is really adept at building? Or possible studies astrology and understands navigational concepts that could be used to produce maps on an accurate and efficient level?" "Pff no, lets just make pig-mees. They will just be pig people. Nothing special about their culture, society, race, or state of being. They are just pig people." See the problem here? Unless Pygmies are actually something interesting and worth a damn, they don't really belong on the server.

I also want to point out something both Ned (from a different thread) and Blaw brought up. "Strength" doesn't have to instantly mean "win a duel" or war. Jutra is a good example of an orc that shows strength by keeping the entire orc nation fed. She has a purpose in life and is well respected because of her critical role in the war nation. Orcs are a very pragmatic society. Every orc learns this before becoming a full adult.

@ blaherag

ummmmm? if you value strength you wouldn't pick on other that you KNOW are weaker than you and claim a big victory of it. and there not a race they are a group of dwarfs, humans, and maybe elfs that met each-other on a lower evolutionary part of there existence. next time before you start b*tch*ng other people's posts, learn something about the information that they are talking about. oh and did you RELY just say thing think the humans are strong?

(oh and anyone can shut up about me saying the word b*tch*ing on this post. I've seen a G.M. say f**k uncensored on there own post before so I think I should be fine.)

#1 I am the last person to call someone out for swearing. You should hear me IRL.

#2 I am not bitching about your post, I am proposing a logical debate point. I thought we were having a reasonable debate, please try to keep it that way and refrain from flaming.

#3 Yes, I did say I considered some humans, namely the Teutonic Order, strong. I also said I consider the Wardens, which were an Elvish military branch prior to their forced retirement, were strong. A race does not need to be as militarily powerful as the Orcs to be strong. Gaius Marius, former leader of the Teutonic Order, came into Orc lands and challenged Blaw to a duel. He lost, but earned Blaw's respect because of his fearless and honorable manner, where most humans would have done anything to avoid a duel he understood our culture and challenged me to one. Refer to Gragarn's post, my posts, Ned's posts, or Jutra for more information about how someone can be strong without necessarily being combatively superior.

#4 You clearly did not read my post, so here I'll quote myself:

(keep in mind Blawharag, in an old-Orcish manner, perceives race by Ethnic groups rather than actual biology. In such a way he sees the Teutonic Humans as strong, but the Renati as weak. The former Wardens of the Elves as strong, but the rest of them as weak.)

So Blawharag considers these people to be a different race because they are their own Ethnic group. Orcs do not perceive race in traditional manners, that is why Goblins are considered 100% Orc and someone like Lex can be considered "Orc" even though biologically he is a dwarf.
