My Weeping Willow

Recommended Posts

Far in the meadows a weeping willow sits

pondering its existitance and how it persists

Now to the world outside my weeping willow be

A cheerful little sapling sprouting up with glee

I watch her sit and ponder her purpose and her goal

She cries with me often on THOSE who left the fold.

And if a day may come when she shall meet them there

A home in the sky, within Aeriels care.

Far in the meadows a weeping willow sits

pondering its existitance and when it shan't persist

She left me for her duty a dream not hope

With tears in her eyes she told me not to mope

I embraced my beloved sister in final hour's breath

And watched it all take over, the darkness, he, the death.

I cry to the heavens for every night I see

the face of my sister walking around me.

Far in the meadows by a weeping willow sits

A man left broken by what hath not persist

Now take this dream from me, take it all away

I remember every word she said on that day

"When I fade into darkness, brother hold my hand

I am scared what be before me in that foreign land"

I'd face him by myself with out any fear,

I held your hand tightly but he beat me here

Now rest my little sister youll guide me there one day

Please hold my hand tightly I ask, I beg, I pray...

...

Far in the meadows a my weeping stone sits

marking a travlers journey that yet persists.

Forgive me Elandria,

Elysande Wymrick

When Aislin saw the title of willow that weeps,

He misread it and saw wolf which gave him the creeps.

Aislin thought "The Weeping Wolf" is super gay,

But luckily Wyvernos changed it anyway.

Seriously, though, a fantastic poem.

[Wyvernos is no longer Ser Wyvernos?! When did that happen? ><;]

Far in the meadows my weeping stone sits,

marking a travelers journey that yet persists.

The words of this poet reverberates within my mind,

Weeping Willow, her shadow cast,

The silhouette of her sorrows, in memories I find,

Lay them to rest and pray, the dark of Past.
