Why you want to join:When Lirel first got off the boat to this new land he had no minas to his name,and no renown.After a while of exploring with his friend Jasper he came across the Alrasian Order.Seeing the possibilities he and Jasper agreed this will be a way to increase their social standing and wealth.

I was born by two criminal people who should be proud to be called my parents. I was only a little boy when I was separated from my two parents and thrown into an orphanage. I was raised there until my adult years. I never had the chance for fighting, only the common fights that lead to a few punches. Well, I've always fancied a sword. I'd love to learn how to use one.

I was born and raised as a hunter by my father. From the day I could hold a dagger I accompanied my father on his trips, and there learned my trade. I was taught how to construct, string, and shoot a bow. There in those woods was the first time I held a sword. I took to it immediately.

Later on in my childhood I was separated from my father, and had to continue training on my own. I improved more and more with my blade, but fell out of practice with bow. I still consider myself at least adept with the bow, and skilled with my blade.

Living alone in the wild meant I had to fend for myself. There I had to learn how to gather my own wood for my fires, huts, and tools. Day and night I strengthened myself by cutting down trees, big and small. I also had to learn how to cook my own food without charring it. I was used to bringing game home to be cooked by someone else, and living off of fruits on hunts. Turns out fruit doesn't fill you up when it is all you eat. Finally I was able to get the hang of cooking my food so it was safe to eat, but not blackened.

Experience: I have had quite a bit of previous military experience. Back before Aegis fell, I was a Ranger of the Forest; a noble group that protected the woods from bandits and cutthroats. I was a ranger for more than ten years, there I learned how to take orders and stare death in the eye. The brotherhood disintegrated eventually, and I was left wandering, ragged and torn.

Why you want to join:

The desire has once again risen within me to join the military. I have decided that living in a hut in the wilds is tiring, as well as boring and pointless. I want more adventure in my life, more conquest, more purpose. Not only is Alras a great nation in my eyes, but I have good friends there and ties to the the main city itself. It is my refuge from the harsh wilderness. It is a break from terror. It is all but my home. Now I want it to be that as well. I crave to go out and protect Alras and its people however I can, even if that means giving my life.

Other:

I am very determined, considered stubborn by some. At times I can also be, depending on how you look at it, quick and witty, or harsh and sarcastic.

I have had a passion for the blade since I could stand. Eating away slowly at the wall in my room slowly as a child with loud lunges and slashes. On the farm I owned, pigs would tremble at the sight of me if I looked hungry. After years of training, I have reached my peak performance. I am truly a master of the straight blade.

Lads, I'm sorry to say but I'm stepping down and leaving Alras for good. You are the greatest military force alive, and are the true citizens of Alras, bringing to the nation a semblance of honor and greatness. Any of you that wish to continue to serve alongside me, send me a bird ((forum PM or /t)) and I will call upon you when the time is right.

With all sadness, I must admit to leaving our Order. All you need to know is that I was proud of work with all of you, and I hope you will continue your great job. Hopefully whoever will take place as head of Military will pick someone worthy as a Captain.
