Personality:

Xerdun does what is best for his people at all times. He takes no pride in handing out punishments but will not hesitate to do so should he need to. Since the "passing" of his father, Xerdun has wished to instil a new sense of devotion to the Kharajyr Daemon deity - Metztli, particularly after the devastation she caused for the Kharajyr's disobedience and shunning of her as their deity. Xerdun hopes that by offering sacrifices of beast and ape to Metztli her wrath will be appeased and she will reward her subjects loyalty.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Xerdun was always picked on by his siblings. He was the youngest of the Tlatlanni’s litter, and the runt. Here in the isolation of the Tlatlanni's palace he was subjected to the abuse of his litter mates. Often they'd pull his tail and scratch him with their razor claws and Xerdu, would be at their mercy. He knew better than to turn to his servants for aid after witnessing one hand maiden being savaged by his siblings. Said hand maiden was later thrown out onto the streets for her incompetence.

Xerdun’s favourite time of day was the early evening, just as Tonatiuh was disappearing over the horizon, when he and the royal family would retire to the bathhouse for grooming. The Kharajyr population would stop in awe of the Tlatlanni's family, their white fur the envy of all those who looked upon it. All Kharajyr males hoped to be as large and strong as those of Metztli’s purest creations, whilst the females wished for gleaming fur and the grace of the Tlatlanni’s family. Qa' Buila, Xerdun's mother would have stood out from the rest of the family, due to her naturally dull brown fur, worn by all Kha' Leparda, yet it was customary for the Emperor's Queen to be powdered heavily in exotic dye from far lands in order for her to appear more fitting. For a Kharajyr outside the family to perform such a deed, however, would be punishable by death.

By the time Xerdun was 10 he already towered above any Kharajyr, even the Kha' Tigrasi. Despite being smaller than his siblings he could easily defeat any opponent in single combat, given the chance. As he had gotten older, and larger, the abuse from his litter mates had begun to steadily decrease. Xerdun did not forget though, the years of torment at the hands of his family haunted him ever and the more time that passed, the more bitter his resentment for his family became. His father never had any time for such petty matters of children; he was more concerned with feasts and whoring than his family, let alone his Empire. No one would dare to cross his father, however. Physically, once he had been everything a Kha's should strive to be, yet now he was bulbous and grotesque. His fur was beginning to thin and his claws were hidden and useless under his fat paws. His mother, always turned a blind eye to Xerdun's suffering. Xerdun always felt sorry for her. She had never truly felt anything for his father and to Xerdun, this was blindingly obvious. She was once beautiful, yet the years had been hard on her and attempting to save the Empire from ruin at the hands of the Emperor had clearly taken its toll.

Xerdun, having reached maturity, was now permitted to join the festivities in the name of the Emperor. He had never understood why he had been unable to attend before now, especially since he knew kittens far younger than him attended. Here he met with other Kharajyr, for the first time in his life, outside his family and servants. After the sacrifices were done those Kharajyr respected or wealthy enough attended the Tlatlanni's feast. Here Xerdun met his first true friend, his father's cake baker. The Emperor had an unrelenting appetite for cake and it was customary for each Tlatlanni to have their own servant specifically for providing them with such treats. Xerdun knew this well, yet he never suspected he would be provided with opportunity to put such information to use. Months passed and the lunar cycle continued, each new Moon being greeted with festivities and celebration. Having snuck out of the palace one day in a hooded gown, Xerdun made his way into the jungle to harvest the water of the Darlki plant, that was said to contain poison more deadly than any other known to the Kharajyr. Such information would be dismissed by most Kharajyr but Xerdun had a particular interest in the written texts he had found in the Temple and the Aelkos house, and he would often make his way there to indulge his appetite for knowledge, when he thought no one was looking. After several days of foraging through the jungle, and having long since run out of food, Xerdun found his prize. Upon his return he was not greeted by his family, rather they had scarcely noticed he was missing. However they wasted no time in scorning him for his absence. Yet it did not bother Xerdun anymore. He was filled with the hope of what was to come. Shortly after his servants had seen that he was watered and fed he disappeared to find the cake master.

Festivities within Var’ Bhaktran were at an all time peak. It had been prophesised by the Aelkos that the Kharajyr were to be blessed with prosperous times of untold glory and wealth. At the feast cakes were brought out in greater sizes and more exotic shapes than ever before. Each of the Emperor's family were brought their own cake and Xerdun watched with hidden satisfaction as his siblings, who had poured so much scorn upon him, and his parents, who had denied his existence, began to feast on their cakes. Xerdun had given the cake master the Darlki water and the cake master had been only too happy to oblige in the deed. The Tlatlanni had always spat upon the cake master, lashed out at him violently if displeased and now he, like Xerdun, was given his chance for revenge.

Days later, the family were taken ill. Despite the prayers of the Aelkos and the masses, within a week the Tlatlanni's lineage had perished, save for Xerdun. Kharajyr across the city wept false tears in honour to the family, and the Aelkos deemed that Xerdun was to assume his father's role as Tlatlanni. Finally the Kharajyr could have the Emperor they deserved, an Emperor to be respected, feared and loved. A Tlatlanni to lead them to new heights and power. Tla’ Xerdun was heralded as the beginning of a new dusk for the Kharajyr.

Not a week after being made Emperor, the mountain around which Var’ Bhaktran was built had erupted and the Kharajyr Empire was plunged into chaos. After fleeing the city with as many survivors as could be mustered Tla’ Xerdun is now attempting to lead his people to a new land where he believes the Kharajyr can prosper.

Character's ambitions:

To bring glory to the Kharajyr, to shake the very foundations of the Earth and, once made aware of their presence, to bring the civilised world to its knees

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

Xerdun, along with his 2 Moonblade bodyguards, was taking a moonlit stroll through the jungle. Confused by the presence of the human Xerdun asks Rashaan, his Moonblade, to approach him. "He wishes food and water, your grace". "Does he indeed" muttered Xerdun. "Very well. Ape - the city of Va' Khajra lies approximately 500 metres to the East. If you can make it back there before I catch you, you have my word, you are welcome to stay within the city as long as your heart desires". "And if you catch me?". "You have a brief headstart. I suggest running". The human makes a beeline for the city. Xerdun follows the human closely, toying with him, blocking his exits and forcing him to change course. There would be little sport in the chase, had Xerdun not made his own amusement. "Bow!" he barked at Rashaan. Lining up the shot, he let loose an arrow, aiming to hit a tree some way in the distance from the human. Panicked, the human looked back at his pursuers. Up, into the trees Xerdun climbed, mere metres from the human. The walls of the city now in sight, the human looked back once more, only to see no one pursuing him. Xerdun couldn't help but let a small smile crawl across his face as he mused over the human's perceived victory. Less than 30 metres from the gates, Xerdun pounced from the tree, landing straight onto the human's back and forcing him face first into the dirt. Turning his prey over and looking deep into his eyes Xerdun only lets slip a small smile, before plunging his fangs into the humans shoulders.

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Xerdun rises, slowly and deliberately from where he is sat. "Do you have no idea who I am, whelp?". Xerdun towered over the dwarf, easily twice his height. The dwarf was apparently too drunk to even notice "Oh look lads, it'd seem that this kitty got claws!" he gawked to his companions. Several Dra' Metza had now risen to stand beside Xerdun, hands on their blades, ready for any trouble. "I am Emperor of all these "Kitties", not that that would mean anything to you - ape." Picking the him up with a single paw by his beard Xerdun raises the dwarf to his own level "So, perhaps this will mean something to you...". Hurling him by his beard, Xerdun throws the dwarf halfway across the tavern, the dwarf only stopping as his head slams against a nearby table leg. As the dwarf rises, seemingly unimpaired from the blow, 2 Moonblades take him by the shoulders and restrain him. Moving ever closer Xerdun says calmly "Here is something for you to remember me by, perhaps next time you will not be so lucky". At that Xerdun retracted a razor claw and carved the symbol of the Kharajyr into each of the dwarf's cheeks. Without even looking back to the dwarf, Xerdun and his companions saunter back to their table to continue their cake, filling themselves for the journey ahead.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

It was obvious to you that Rashaan had been napping prior to his arrival. No matter, he had escorted the rogue Kharajyr up to the Tlatlanni's quarters without causing too much of a fuss. Xerdun yawns groggily "So, do you care to share?". "This Kha's wishes to approach you for your forgiveness, Emperor, he has committed murder". "Over what was the quarrel, Kha's? Speak quickly, it is unwise to waste the time of the Tlatlanni". "Your grace," stumbled the pathetic looking Kha's, most likely a beggar "it was over a slice of cake, great Tlatlanni. I couldn't help myself, I'd not eaten in days. I saw the baker carrying it and I asked him for a slice, he declined so I reached for a bite. Oh it looked so tasty. There was no one around and he tried to pull a knife on me. I did what any desperate Kha's would do. I cut his neck with my own paws". "Rashaan, I don't want you to let this waste of fur in my sight again. Please, it would please me should there be no more interruptions from the common folk tonight. Take his tail and hang it from the city gates and throw him over the walls"

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?

I believe I would find it rather difficult not to...
