You see workers around the military district demolishing buildings, you begin to ponder. Not too far away, a group of people is spotted with a man speaking loud to the crowd. You use this free time to hear the man's words.

Greetings, Citizens of Renatus,

Under the Order of The King, re-construction of Arethor has begun. With this being said, citizens will need to relocate their supplies and items to a different location for this period of time.

Any Items left in thy chests will and shall be taken for the Government of Renatus.

Citizens shall have a period of three elven days to move said items. Homes will be re-distributed after re-construction of the grand city. Citizens in the slum district shall have about 5 or more elven days to move items. Thank you for all of your time and god bless thee.

~Lord High Architect: Count Throdo Therving.

((If you can't be online to move your items during the period please speak with Mogroka))

*Roger hears Halboron's remark and replies*

Don't worry citizens, both the noblemen and the less fortunate among us, the new city will be grand.

If you just have patience you will see with your own eyes why the city is being rebuild. The plans I have made for the city will ensure its existence for centuries to come, and will define the entire nation.

((Thodo, you're the architect? I think I am the one designing almost everything ;) ))

*walks up to throdo, pondering something

"Cousin, does this meen the houses near the shop area, will be removed, and also would we be allowed to store them somewhere else until we get our houses back, if it is.

Also would we be able to store our things in the field where the noble district used te' be, because that area currently has nothing.

Also would ye' need any more help, as I would like t'e help if I can"

(And I have perms their, for now :I)

((Edit, is their any chance you could demolish it more rp'ly, IMO it looks like your leaving floaty floors and blowing up paths without rp'ing the demolition and just clicking away to destroy it))

Josef listens to the words with utmost shock.

Count Therving! What are the plans for the city? What will happen to the middle class district, the church area, the government plaza?

Josef is thinking of the Church and graveyard, which he built by hand, and feels a deep connection to. He also thinks of his house, the first of its size he has ever had that took him decades of saving to be able to buy. Then, with the most regret of all, he wonders the fate of the library he still builds, what will happen to his plans for it, and whether or not he will live to see it completed.

Roger Ithelias hears Josef's questions and replies.

Royal scribe, if the king allows it I can show you the building plans for the new city, I'm sure you'll love it.

To tha Nether with all ov ye, especially you Throdo. Screw relocation. I'd be a fool ta return ta Renatus after t'is. I will be expectin' compensation for me 'ome and any'un comin' ta take me land will get a black eye if they ain't got it. If I see tha "new King" 'e gets one anyway!

((OOC EDIT: As of today I will be AFKing in front of my house with an axe. Have fun.))

Calls to the Dwarf

Anyone who has lost a home in the reconstruction will likely be given another after the work is complete. Public warehouses have been put up in the meantime, and I expect friends somewhere can house you till the dwelling places are in a fit state for occupation.
