Rule

We speak firstly to all these with pure heart and desire to wear noble armour of truth and chivalry. And therefore we admonish you who until now have led the godless and aimless life in which truth was not the cause, but which you embraced greed and human favour only, to follow these whom Exsul has chosen from mass of perdition and whom He has ordered through His gracious mercy to defend His Holy Tomb, and that you hasten to join them forever.

Above all things, whosoever would be a righteous man, choosing such holy orders, you in your profession of faith must unite pure diligence and firm loyality to fellow brothers, which is so worthy and so holy, and is known to be so noble, that if it is preserved untained for ever, you will deserve to keep guard of Exsul sacred place with noblest who gave up their lives for Exsul Greater Glory. Faced with knighthood that despised the love of justice that constitutes its duties and did not do what it should, that is defend the poor, widows, orphans and pilgrims, but strove to plunder, despoil and kill, ouer religious order has fluorised and revitalised the order of knighthood. Exsul sent us to lands of Asulon to spread the true faith and noble sacrifice.

Therefore I, Kranos Thiell, to whom was entrusted and confided the divine position of Grand Master, by the grace of Exsul served as the humble scribe of present document.

The Manner in which Brothers should be Received

If any secular knight, or any other man, wishes to leave the mass of perdition and abandon that secular life and choose your communal life, do not consent to receive him immediately. For it was said that: 'Test the soul to see if it comes with noble intention.' Rather, if the company of the brothers is to be granted to him, let the Rule be read to him, and if he wishes to studiously obey the commandments of the Rule, and if it pleases the Master and the brothers to receive him, let him reveal his wish and desire before all the brothers assembled in chapter and let him make his request with a pure heart. Then he shall be taken as a squire until the day he shall prove himself worthy to became brother knight.

On Not Receiving Children

Although the rule of the order allows the receiving of children into a religious life, we do not advise you to do this. For he who wishes to give his child eternally to the order of knighthood should bring him up until such time as he is able to bear arms with vigour, and rid the land of the enemies of Exsul. Then let the mother and father lead him to the house and make his request known to the brothers; and it is much better if he does not take the vow when he is a child, but when he is older, and it is better if he does not regret it than if he regrets it.

On the Brothers' Dress

We command that all the brothers' shall wear on their chest the symbol of fire bird. Except for that all habits should always be of one colour, that is white, so by the sign of the white habits, which signifies purity and complete chastity, brothers of our order shall recognize each other.

And if any brother out of a feeling of pride or arrogance wishes to have as his due a better and finer habit, let him be given the worst. And those who receive new robes must immediately return the old ones, to be given to the squires and sergeants and often to the poor, according to what seems good to the one who holds that office.

On the sharing

The Brother may give to whomsoever he pleases the horse and armour and whatever he likes. And the brother who received nothing from him should not become vexed or angry: for be certain that if he becomes angry he will go against Exsul.

On Giving Counsel

Let only those brothers whom the Master knows will give wise and beneficial advice be called to the council; for this we command, and by no means everyone should be chosen. For when it happens that they wish to treat serious matters like the giving of communal land, or to speak of the affairs of the house, or receive a brother, then if the Master wishes, it is appropriate to assemble the entire congregation to hear the advice of the whole chapter; and what seems to the Master best and most beneficial, let him do it.

On Keeping the Peace

Each brother should ensure that he does not incite another brother to wrath or anger, for the sovereign mercy of Exsul holds the strong and weak brother equal, in the name of charity

On Faults

Above all things, we should ensure that no brother, powerful or not powerful, strong or weak, who wishes to promote himself gradually and become proud and defend his crime, remain unpunished. But if he does not wish to atone for it let him be given a harsher punishment.

Written by the hand of Grand Master Karanos, with blessing of the Exiled One.

For the greater glory of Exsul!

Our goal is to rise in numbers for the glory of Exsul. Faced with shadows expanding over Asulon we keep the guard of Exsul tomb. It is duty of the Veritars to give their lives if nedeed to protect the sacred lands and walls of Antrum Arx.

Cavern of Exsul and make vows. Thus entering the inner circle of the

Order.

-Brother Squires

serves a knight, from who he learns the ways of Veritars, until he become a

knight of Exsul himself.

Forgotten Past

When the High God created world, he placed on it his creation that breathed and lived. But they didnt had a freedom of choice for the High God feared what great damage would the Man do if he was left with choice between good and bad. When the creation ended God left to rest, and placed his most trusted servant to guard his work. That was Exsul, who guarded world without relief. During that time Exsul looked into the hearts of High God creation and saw that these beings suffered, for they didnt had a choice though their souls longed for it. Exsul pitied these beings and decided to free them from these chains. He gathered all his powers with rights bestoved upon him from the High God, and spent every part of it to break the chains and free the beings from control. Great was High God fury for Exsul betrayal when he realized what Exsul did. But when he returned he saw that his servant spent all his power on his gift to Man so that even High God couldnt chain minds of beings again. From anger High God took away Exsul immortality and exiled him on the desert. Soon mortal body of Exsul died from thirst and his spirit remained trapped on the desert forever. But when the life left Exsul body, the place of his death crambled and the cave appeared from which started flowing water. Seeing that High God foresaw that one day Exsul will regain his power and once again he will be able to negate Him. Fearing that High God sent one of his creation to take Exsul body from the prison to which his spirit was bound so that he will never be reborn. But the creature failed its mission for in hurry High God overlooked its flaw. Greedy was mind of creature and when it took the body of Exiled One it fled and kept it for itself. That creature was the first Enderman and with the power it drained from Exsul body it grew powerful and spread its childrens across the world.

((Antrum Arx lies on the desert west from central lands. Those that want to join the Order reply and I will pm you the location of the keep.))
