"orc"-Kind Killed By Zealous Kha.

In the last cycle of the Moon's gaze over pride-land, Nyma witnessed something terrible happen.

Nyma was working foot-and-paw over temple interior, carving a some ornate stone-blocks, when he heard yelling and challenge-hiss from outside. Himself went to go see, and he saw a strange beast standing within a crowd of Kha, with about five-score blades at his throat.

Most of the Kha-kind, including - Metzli forgive - kitten-paws, were insulting and hurting the new-beast. Nyma thought this was unreasonable, and decided to intervene. Himself argued that the new-beast had done nothing wrong, and had probably far-wandered into Kha pride-lands by accident, as non-thinker-beasts do occasionally.

However, to Nyma's big surprise, turns out new-beast can talk, and tried to explain his wrong-wandering into us-kind lands. Nyma thought his apology was reasonable, however, other Kha did not, and continued to shout for thinker-beast blood on the Temple rocks. Nyma found this horror to himself - you cannot sacrifice thinker-beast as a tribute, it's wrong!

Himself explained how such act would bring no-growth and evil-beast gaze to our lands, but they continued no-regard to Nyma's words, and ended up locking the thinker-beast "Orc" into the beast-pen, and prodded him with Kha-sabres. "Orc" meanwhile, did not retaliate, like a non-thinker-beast would, instead allowing him-being to be grabbed and kitten-pulled around.

Eventually, Kha-group pulled "Orc" to spar-ring, and he was slain in combat. Nyma thinks that "Orc" met honor-noble death, but was killed wrongly.

What other Kha-kind think upon this? Nyma is worried about bad omens recently, like the many-leg nest in front of the palace, in which many Kitten-paws and even several Moon-guard (non-competents!) got almost no-breathed.

I had only enough time to witness the killing blow against the green skinned Ape. I assume that it was a punishment of sorts and congratulated the victor on his fight. However, now that I understand the true fable behind these events I am saddened by what happened. That creature could of brought us tomes worth of knowledge of whatever lies under the same sun as us. Who knows what could be out there, I feel that this was an opportunity that has slipped through our fingers.

( Agreed, I do think this was a interesting first encounter however. If you guys want to make it a cannon "once in a blue moon" anomaly that's okay with me. The good thing is, he remembers nothing regardless because of death. If anything it gives the Kharajyr insight and everyone else has no idea. I can tell I'm going to gawk over the Kharajyr regardless, the way they talk and **** makes me giddy with laughter. Kudos. )
