Wretched 2075 Share Posted March 27, 2012 ~~Oh'Khan Pride~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Oh'Khan pride is one of the oldest prides in the Kharajyr, it is mainly Kha'Panterabut with strings of Kha'Tigrasi. The pride is a warrior family, they truely belive they are the best at what they do and would never turn down a challange to prove it. This is one of the main reasons the pride is in conflict with the Tanar pride. The Oh'Khan's accept all into their mighty family, warriors are prefered but all professions are welcome if they can follow the prides culture. The pride is very territorial, probably the most territorial Kharajyr you could meet, they are normally friendly enough if you meet them on equal terms but they do not take kindly to strangers on their land, and are prepared to fight in order to keep them away.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Oh'Khans are always looking to expand their great pride, and have recently had a large number of kittens born into the family. The family trains its kittens to become warriors, although that may not be the path they choose, they will always have the warrior training of the Oh'Khans in their time of need. The pride is sometimes seen as aggresive or even mean but this is only true to the tresspassers on their lands, it is unknown why they do this, perhaps to keep up their tradition? Or maybe they are hiding something? Only the members of the pride have the answer.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Oh'Khan pride have no strong or weak views on their goddess Metztli, they worship her the same as any Kharajyr would. The only difference is the Oh'Khans belive that disrespecting Metztli is punishable by death. For somebody to offend Metztli means offending the Oh'Khans as her worshippers. They have very strong belifes that punishment should be harsh for such crimes. The pride is very proud of their name and will fight to defend their familys honour. The prides history goes back a long way, mostly storys of battle and bloodshed.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Oh'Khans symbol is a hammer. This hammer has been passes down through the family and currently lies in the possesion of Kija Oh'Khan. It is far too old for battle now but it was said to of been the tool of one of our ancient ancestors Khan when he had slain a beast only known as "The great terror". There is no proof behind such storys apart from the heavy iron hammer that has been carried down through the family. The hammer is normally displayed in the Oh'Khan home and holds a very large sentimental value among the family. It is probably worthless to a blacksmith due to its age and weight.~~Current members~~High Elder- Do_Tiazar_Oh'Khan - Elder- Do_Kija_Oh'Khan - Elder- Do_Eldai_Oh'Khan -Elder- S'Akara_Oh'Khan- Lesser Elder- S'Eragorn_Oh'Khan- Lesser Elder- Ki'Loka_Oh'Khan - Kitten- Liara_Oh'Khan - Kitten- Majiir_Oh'Khan - Kitten- Dai_Oh'Khan-Lesser Kitten- Ceme_Oh'Khan -(A member turns into an Elder/Lesser Elder at the age of 15, this is when they have a say with what happens in the family. All non-relatives have "lesser" before their title in the Pride.)~~History~~The Oh’Khan Family is descended from the hunter warrior Khan (A Pantera). He was one of Do'Kuta, and some say he was the founder and leader of the first group of them. He met his lover and later on wife when he was hunting in the great lush jungle of Karakuta. She was named Sa’Oh (A Tigrasi), and they deeply loved each other, so much that they became life mates and changed their surname to Oh’Khan, symbolising there love. They had two sons, one called Tonor (a Tigrasi of sorts), the eldest, and the other Kujiir (A Pantera). Since the Tanar’s started letting other people into the Dra’Metza, Tonor joined them, and Kujiir followed his father into the skirmisher side of the military. Tonor married another Tigrasi, and had one child called Tiazar, now the head of the pride. Kujiir married another Pantera, and he had two sons, the elder, Eldai and Kija. Tiazar had had one cub with a beautiful tigrasi but she sadly passed away giving birth, and later on his cub drowned in a river, This mentally destroyed Tiazar and to this day has a fear of water. Eldai had a daughter with a Pantera women and named her Dai, she is now 10. Kija had two children with a Tigrasi called Akara, One called Majiir, the elder and a boy, and one called Liara, the younger and a girl. Even though Tiazar is the cousin of Eldai and Kija, they are very close, and call each other brothers. Tiazar, like his father, joined the military, As did Kija and Eldai. ~~~~~~~Religion~~~~~~~The Oh'Khans have a different belief system than many other Kharajyr, including the Tanar pride. They belive that Metztli is not as powerful as others may think, after all, she failed to protect the Kharajyr against the volcanic eruption. This does not mean they worship her any differently, they simply belive that Metztli has very little effect on the Kharajyr without people to help her. The Oh'Khans belive that the Tlatlanni is Metztli's partner in the real world. Metztli controls her people with the Tlatlanni, the Tlatlanni is seen as an equal, not a servant of their goddess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Oh'Khan greeting/farewell: "Strength and honour brother/sister"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~If you are interested in joining the Oh'Khan pride then let us know. ((Firstly: Lawl, is that some OOC hate towards the Tanars I detect there :wink: . Secondly: I thought that we could allow everybody in, as warriors we would teach them our ways and our code and all that jazz. So if it was a priest, they could follow their path but they would have Oh'Khan warrior training to aid them. Or even that Emperor is physical manisfestation of Meztili and must be respected moreso due to his presence gracing the Empire. Tanar believes that while Emperor is chosen by Meztili, the Emperor is not as credible and is lesser to Meztili. This is just from my RP with kido, who said that the Okhan believe in the top most. In truth the Emperor is the lesser than Metztli and so, we would be terribly wrong and not be liked as much by Metztli, which would lead to failure.
