There is a large document pinned to the notice board. In Halerame's writing, it is titled "Legion Disbanded" in a large hand, with much smaller writing at the bottom. It reads:

"Citizens of Haelun'or, the Silver City of the Mali'aheral, please be advised that in a short time, the First Legion of Haelun'or has been dissolved. All Legionnaires will be released from service and all militiamen will be removed from the roster. In the place of the First Legion, the Second Legion will arise with an entirely new ranking system, set of protocols, and list of duties for each role. Below is an in depth description of the changes occurring. If you were removed from the roster and with to re-apply to join the Second Legion, please sign your name below.

Okarir'sil - This rank will remain the same. He is the head of the military and all members of the Second Legion will submit directly to him. Any orders he gives will be carried out without question.

Legate - The Legate's primary function is to carry out the day-to-day administration of the Second Legion. A legate's orders may not be countermanded by anyone save an Okarir or the Maheral himself.

Silumar - The Silumar(Translation: Weeping Blades) are the Okarir'sil's most trusted soldiers. They perform the normal soldier's duties while at the same time protecting the Council and the Maheral. They act as the elite force behind the Second Legion, and perform any high-risk operations that are required of them.

Justicar - The Justicar is the normal soldier. He obeys the Silumari, the Legate, and finally the Okarir'sil. They act as city watchmen, they guard the city in the event of an assault, and they engage in offensive operations on command.

Okarir'sil - Nelecar

Legate - Halerame

Silumari - Arthane, Seth

Justicars - Elrun

These ranks are obeyed in this order. A Legionnaire will not need to obey another of the same rank, save for special circumstances and when the order is being relayed from one higher in the chain of command. These changes will take effect at a ceremony where the three Silumari will be dedicated to their service to the city and the Justicars will be instated. Again, please sign below to be considered re-enlisted."

((Many thanks, Allen. :3))

Halerame chuckles, signing his own name first immediately after pinning the document up, "This should be a given, but I suppose an extra name can't hurt."

I would inquire with great interest where and when these promised military reforms will be arriving.

I have a question regarding this reform. What sort of training do our soldiers complete? As of late, it's seemed that the military has been an untrained militia instead of an army. Also, what sort of equipment will be supplied? Our current supplies seem to be inadequate, especially compared to our attackers during that Accursed Purge((what my char calls the Orc Raid)).

For the military, Aurea, we're not following your plans. Defenses however is a different story.

We have more than enough equipment - training not so much, but every soldier is meant to be adequate with a sword. It would not look like such an untrained militia if we actually had uniforms, something I've been unable to get onto.

The reform will hopefully assist with this. The sillumir will likely be training justicars.))

Halerame nods to Ellir, "This will be occurring on the date of the ceremony, which is as yet undecided. We must ask three skilled warriors to serve as the Silumari and give the Legionnaires and other members sufficient time to sign this form and be added to the roster."

We have more than enough equipment

I'm glad that this reform will bring more training, but the amount of our equipment wasn't our question. What is the quality of our equipment? The attackers in the Accursed Purge attacked us with the most expensive armor money can buy and magically imbued swords that cut through us like a shovel through dirt. Has the quality of the supplies increased?
