Dai The Runaway [Updated 04/04 21:58]

"Now block my attack!"

The training was going swimingly, Dai was getting better at clocking with her axe and attacking too, although she was already good at that bit. Majjir looked at Dai as she stopped to take a rest and snuck up behind her thinking that jumping on her back would be funny. Hearing the footsteps, Dai turned round as Majjir jumped on her....

Dai sat there in the rain, knowing that even though she was stuck inside the slave pit she couldn't yell. Not even make a sound. Hunger started to set in as she sat there, silently sobbing. Starvation would definatly be the worst way to die, esspecailly in this situation. How had it gone from training for her trails to running away from everyone but Zakar so quickly? Surviving (Barely) off of apples she found on trees. NOw she had fallen into the slave pits. Alone. Cold. Hungry. And most of all scared. So scared. She had hit him. Hit him with her axe. Right after yelling and swearing at half the pride. SHe'd gone way too far this time before she was angry at everything by how quickly she had had to grow up but now she was just scared. Scared and alone. Ready for death she lay there, waiting for something... Anything to happen that made her happier.

Dai ran away and is now scared alone and starving.))

A note is pinned up on the notice board a few days after these events.

It reads

"Dai has runaway. Anyone who finds her please return her to the therkul den. Thank you"

Part two~ Tales from the streets

Was that a movement downstairs? Had someone come in? Was she imaginging it?

Rgese quyestions swirled around Dai's mind as she awoke and climbed out of Zakar's bed. She hated using other peoples and used her own if possibile but that night she had to use Zakar's bed. There definatly was a noise that time... Someone was downstairs, and climbing up the staris. Dai held her breath and jumped out the window, only to be followed. Running, she noticed that the grey Kha who helped heal Miian was following her. Dai really hoped she wouldn't have to hurt the woman. INfact was admimant that it would be last resrot. Aswell as the fact she wasn't sure if she could hurt her.

Blood swirled round Dai's mouth. Why did it have to be this way? The grey Kha had grabbed her, forcing Dai to bite to get the Grey Kha to realse her hold. She'd been dropped! Wait did the grey Kha say something "Come back. Promise to come back Dai." Dai nodded in response and sprinted off, spitting out the blood and wishing the taste would leave her mouth. Back to another hard day of...

"Oh no! Dai fell asleep on the tree again!" Dai mutters to herself before sobbing gently. There's someone on the floor! They're climbing the tree! Is that Kraka or Krahn? It's one of them! "Lets hope this doesn't break Dai's leg again" she said to herself as she leapt from the tree. Tha pain in her leg was bad but she needed to run. Behind the palace she sat there and caught her breath.. Begging to drift into sleep.

Krahn finishes nailing the sign up on the noticeboard as he sighs heavily hoping she is alright. Krahn returns to the inn and Therkul den to arrange a search party.

"Kraka, Zeriko, Hazarin, Kija, Tiazar and Eldai. Grab some food a weapon if you need, we need to take this into our own paws and look for Dai!"

*remembers Majiir's request for help, then lightly growls to himself*

Seems I need to join this hunt...

*Eldai reads the note while his face goes red*

WHAT!!!!! SHE'S.... SHE'S GONE! I WILL DIE TO FIND HER! IM GOING AHEAD BY MYSELF! ALL OF YOU CATCH UP TO ME! SHE MUST BE FOUND SHE IS ONLY STILL A KITTEN WHO KNOWS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO HER OUT IN THE WILDS! I SHALL FIND MY DAUGHTER IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!

*he puts on his armour and grabs his sword he then grabs some food and puts in a bag and heads out to find his daughter*
