Guest Brian Share Posted August 10, 2011 Aye, good point, Fae. Anyway Brian, if Ah come alon' with Ale, Pipes & Bread, please don't start a competetion. There's already enough rivalyr between our Villages. ((The Dunwood Ale is much better then yours..)) Edit: ((Wow, I just got to know Dunwood only has so much flowers and grass because you used about 3-4 stacks Bone-meal or even more to make it a very nice place. We really need more Bones..)) I live in Dunwood, so our ale tis better than theirs!

Charlie4vb 26 Share Posted August 11, 2011 ((Yep, with beeing rude  Never saw a a quiet normal Halfling there...) I mean, if Halflings are hobbish, they would also make party with other Halflings, who are not out of Dunwood).) (( To be quite honest, only Myself and Gimblo were intending to be Rude and Grumpy, didn't know others would follow suit :O. It's fine though, it's not as though we stay hostile, it just takes some time to get to know ya. ))
Orm_Proudfoot 61 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Ah would 'ope yah'd find that Ah'm not rude nor grumpy. Thar 'ave been several visitors tah Dunwood the last few weeks and Ah always try tah make them welcome, invitin' them in fer a pint and chattin' with them. Some 'ave settled in the area, others 'ave kept goin' in thar travels. And anyone is welcome in the cathedral now that it is done.
Guest Brian Share Posted August 11, 2011 Ill take a drink wit anyone that comes through, as long as they don't bring any troubles from outside. (( Sometimes I'm hostile but its for a good reason, you either come wanting or begging for a house, or you want to talk about politics, undead, or bandits just in general. That's actually one of the reason I became a halfling because I don't like talking or participating in discussions like that. T ))
Hoovie 31 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Greet'ens from Greenshire! Yar neighboring town tah the northwest of Dunwood! We currently 'ave five citizens includin' a wee-lil dwarf! We 'ave a few 'omes, two currently empty, a mine, tavern, a few farms an' even a bath 'ouse! We welcome all newcomers ta our' small town, as lon' as dey are peaceful and calm. Feel free ta stop by. - Mayor James ((We just started building this new town. We stumbled upon Dunwood a few days ago and really liked it but wanted to start something new on our own. Right now its a group of five of us from another rp community, a few more may come but we also welcome people outside of that. Feel free to stop by and check us out! While we still are a bit new to the server, don't discount us!))
Lym 849 Share Posted August 11, 2011 ((Ok, Listen, that would be already the 3rd Halfling Town. Thistledown was founded due to the fact not many Halflings found Dunwood. We are maybe 20-25 Halflings, we don't need 3 Towns!))
Guest Brian Share Posted August 11, 2011 (( It doesn't seem right to even have more than two towns to me, was there anything but the shire with hobbits? No. ))
argonian 14254 Share Posted August 11, 2011 OOC: The shire was an area that contained a couple of Hobbit towns IIRC
Ilsyde 0 Share Posted August 11, 2011 ((At the end of the day, these three settlements could be merged but from what others have said, it's not like they're particlarly close together to begin with. I might venture out today to find Dunwood to back up this claim. Lym, what should I give to the NPC in my shop - a friendly hoe or the "ah knock ye teeth out!!" shovel? I know Frado would go with the shovel :D ))
Hoovie 31 Share Posted August 12, 2011 OCC: Were not just a halfling town, we have a dwarf and a northerner. Greenshire is an accepting community full of hard workers. We were closer to Dunwood but we were forcibly relocated to the west. And Halflings wouldn't want to live in such a large community, they like the wild and the openness. Just because we are not in the same exact town doesn't mean we can't interact.
