As you, a faithful mali'aheral citizen, wander around Haelun'or, you see a post with a strange and shrouded object slumped over it sticking up out of the garden between the inn and the inner city housing. As you get closer, you realize it is the grosteque sight of a limbless, headless torso impaled vertically on the thick, wooden stake.

Pale purple skin has been torn off violently in some places, and some bloodied clothes still adorn the body. Below it on the soft garden bed lies the easily recognizable head of Zelphar Autumnfire resting on a severed violet hand, one eye closed and missing, giving the impression of a wink. His face is twisted in a vapid and puzzled look. Inscribed on a stone tablet underneath is a message.

"Here lies Zelphar Autumnfire, servile filth. Killed by a well-deserved bolt to the eye."

You think you see a grey-cloaked man watching you from the corner of your eye. You turn, but nobody is there.

*as Drecar notices Zelphar he lets out a shout of horror. Drecar then runs up to the mutilated body, sobbing. Then whispers very gently "I will avenge you... Your assailant will pay for this..." Then he shouts "I'm coming for you!"

*Altariel sees an elf standing near something shouting and sobbing, so she walks over to see what is going on and sees the purple man on the post. Altariel stands there for a moment not sure what to feel, stuck between joy that the odd purple man was gone, and utter terror at the fact that he is now a mutilated corpse in front of her. Finally Altariel makes up her mind and screams running back towards her families tower.*

*Relgard looks at the corpse with mild interest, inspecting it to learn what he can about the killer. Finally, he turns away.*

"Was this man one of us?"

Ellir, upon seeing the carcass and the Elves gathered around it, she knows at once who's doing it has been. By her right as a Justicar of the second legion, she brings down the corpse from its stake and addresses the masses.

Mali, lliran, today I have caught within our city an old flame I thought we were all but rid of. He calls himself 'Bittersteel', but do not grand him the chance to hide behind this dreadful pseudonym. The crimes of Nelecar, his continued spite and downright madness will never be forgotten, and even as I showed me the eyestalk of Zelphar Autumnfire I considered to end his taint right there. I would not, however, have his blood seep into our hallowed earth, and mingle with the blessed water of the pools that run below.

Rest assured, however, the reign of terror of this filth is over. Neither as a council member or a bittersteel vigilante will he terrorize the pure-blooded Mali'aheral.

maehr'sae hiylun'ehya!

Kyral, a shadowy figure can barely be seen on the top of the towers of the Silver city of Haelun'or, her head twitching slightly as she keeps her snarling to a minimum. Looking around for "food" as her nose picks up the smell of decay as her mind snaps, hunching over with a gluttonous glint in her eyes.

F-Food? Here?!She says as she begins to jump building from building, scouting the ground area of the Silver city as her eyes lock onto her target. "F-FOOD!" she thinks her head twitching wildly as she jumps down and rolls.

Kyral Walks up to the skull slowly, peeling off the skin and hair, ripping the eye out as she pops it in her mouth with a gluttonous grin. "More More! MORE FOOD!" she thinks, blood dripping from her hands as she continues to rip the flesh off the skull, cutting the top of the skull with her serrated blade as she takes out the brain, looking about as she eats it quickly, almost not chewing as she coughs. She takes a bit of blood and writes on the ground in big bold words

THIS IS NOT ENOUGH! I WILL RETURN FOR MORE FLESH!

Kyral leaves the Silver City of Haelun'or , the once severed head a cleanly picked skull, the top of the skull laying next to the note as droplets of blood lead to the gate, and end half way on the bridge.

The severed limb was quickly removed from Ellir's doorstep. With mild bemusement and a tendency for passive-aggressive behavior, she pinned a note to her door-frame not too long after.

"Stop playing with your food, child."

Looking over the bloodied stake embedded in the ground, Lucion looks over the scene with mild concern.

"Most concerning. Any death of a Mali'aheral is a dreaful affair. And this one's odd purple-ish skin was something definitely worth researching! Shame Ellir took the body..."

Breathing in sharply and straightening himself, Lucion pivots on his heel and walks briskly in the other direction. He mutters to himself under his breath.

"Though a curiousity, he was somewhat of an irritation. I do miss the days of Nelecar, sometimes..."

Kerhal watches from the a distance, a book in his hands, he looks at the corpse and frowns.

"Is that the creep who WANTED to be a slave? He couldn't last hear, why the hell does he want in on Menorcress?"

Kerhal pulls out a list, and rubs something off it, before walking away.
