How old are you?:14

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Australia, AEST a.k.a GMT+10:00

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:I believe I do

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I love minecraft, and have been playing for over a year now. I love writing and acting, and I play a lot of different types of video games. I am easy to get along with, and I work well with others!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:Roughly 5-7 hours

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is basically acting out a part in game, making decisions and doing specific things according to your character's personality and past.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have applied for 3 Roleplay servers before, and have been accepted in all of them. I played on the server "The Tales of Loroth", A fantastic server, which is currently closed at the moment, and I'm helping build a roleplay server at the moment "Darkness of Eldiel".

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Using information obtained outside the game, to gain an unfair advantage over other players in-game. A few examples might be: if you are talking to a person in the chat and saying their name, when your character shouldn't know it, unless they have asked first. Or, if you read someone's villain application, then run into them in-game and act as though your character knows they are a villain on first sight, when clearly your character shouldn't.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:Making your character overly powerful, having no weaknesses, without any consideration of your roleplay limits. Also forcing other characters into situations without them having a chance to react, doing something like: "Give me your money in 2 seconds or I kill you, one two" *kills the person* would be considered powergaming

What do you expect this server will be like?:From what I've heard, I expect it to be epic! A great role-playing experience, with friendly and helpful staff, overall I expect it to be a fantastic roleplay server!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on so many other Minecraft servers that I couldn't name them all, but some of my favourites are: Hillside Modern, Thora Creative, RPG gaming... the list goes on. I haven't left those servers yet, I still play on them regularly

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:Absolutely

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes I do

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: I had heard of it, a lot of admins on other roleplay servers consider this server an idol of theirs, something to dream that their server might be as good as someday.

In-Character:

Character Name: Alasseah Sáralondë

What Race are you?:Elvin

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): High Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Sáralenn Alondessene was a well-known figure of beauty all of her youth, tall and slender, with long white-blonde hair, and electric blue eyes. She has a kind heart, and is very adventurous, Although, being brought up by an over-protective father, she has a rebellious streak and is not always honest. She grew up with very few friends, as many of the children of her home community were very self-obsessed, so she did not get along with them, and remained alone a great deal of her time. As a young child, Sáralenn sometimes watched from her bedroom window, as travelling merchants and warriors visited the High Elf community and sold their goods. Orcs, humans, dwarves and sometimes Mori. She was always wondering about what life would be like if she was not a High Elf, if she were someone else. Once she asked her father if she could go and meet some of the travellers, but Tharmaethor Alondessene looked upon other races distastefully, and believed that even just conversing with them may “pollute” the cleanliness of their race, and forbid his daughter to ask about anything so silly again.

Sáralenn was still a young child when she started to become rebellious. Often, when she was supposed to be sewing or painting in her room, she climbed out of her bedroom window and ran along the treetops, to explore the town from a birds-eye view. After doing this a lot, Sáralenn became very acrobatic and agile. When she noticed the other children learning to fight, she immediately wanted to join them. Sáralenn asked her father about learning to defend herself, but ever since his wife died in battle, Tharmaethor had despised weapons and war, and he forbid Sáralenn from ever learning to fight. Irritated by her father’s apparent paranoia, she secretly paid an old Elvin farmer named Authion Helyanwë, who was well renowned for his skills with the bow and arrow, to take her on as an apprentice. When she began her training, Sáralenn was only 12 years of age. On the day of her 5th lesson, she was shooting at her target out the back of Authion’s house, when she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. She whipped her bow around to the movement and prepared to fire. Suddenly she realised it was a human boy, a little older than her (in human years), poking his head above the fence. “Father, what are you… oh” the boy started, seeing Sáralenn. Authion introduced the boy as Faeron, another student of his, to Sáralenn. He made the boy promise solemly to tell no one of Sáralenn’s lessons, and Faeron agreed, placing a hand over his heart. Faeron was a kind, generous boy, who actually had a little Elvish blood in him, which caused him to live longer than most humans, but there was only such a small amount that many people did not consider him to be part Elf at all. Over the years, He and Sáralenn became good friends. Often he trained with her, and sometimes taught her a little, when Authion was unavailable. Sáralenn felt a little guilty about not telling her father of her friend, or her training, but she tried not to think about it.

As soon as Sáralenn turned 15, she was often not able to see Faeron and Authion as much as usual, as her father travelled often, and because of his daughter’s age, he felt he should take her with him on business to educate her further. It was also partly to get her to meet wealthy male High Elves, in hopes that she would fall in love with one of them. Even while she was away, Sáralenn still practiced secretly with a bow that Faeron had given her for her birthday, and improved greatly still. She became very well known, what with her travels, and since she was very beautiful, many wealthy men desired her hand. Her father would go through the suitors first to make sure that they were all of complete High Elven blood, and then Sáralenn tried her best to find faults in every one that appealed to her father, to use to persuade him that none of them were suitable. She knew that unless she wanted to fail her father, she must marry by the time she was 21, but marriage was not at all in her interests at such a young age. Sáralenn began to meet more with Faeron as she grew up, whenever she had the chance. Faeron got a job as a carpenter, and he often made small wooden figures as gifts for Sáralenn. When she was 19, Sáralenn and Faeron eventually fell in love, and Faeron began to prepare to propose. Sáralenn, fearless now that she had found love, became careless and sometimes met with Faeron in public, so inevitably, her father found out about it. Furious and worried about his daughters affections for this human boy, Tharmaethor consulted an advisor for what to do about his daughter. The Advisor was candid, and told Tharmaethor that if he did not wish to have his daughter considered unclean by the community and sent away, he would have to get rid of the boy. Tharmaethor paid the advisor to get it done however he wished, and to tell him when it was done. With that, he strode out the door and hurried home.

The advisor was actually a very foolish, irrational Elf, and if Tharmaethor had looked further, he would have found many advisors better than this particular one, for he paid an assassin to kill Faeron, seeing it as the best way to cure this problem. Luckily the human boy learned of this plot just in time, and he, in a few hours during the night, packed up and left his home. Faeron left only a small note for Sáralenn, held in the hands of a wooden figure of a small girl. The note explained that he had to leave urgently, and he could not say where he was going, for fear that the assassin will come after them. He wrote that he loved her and when he was able, would come back for her. Aggrieved by the news that her love had left, Sáralenn spent many days weeping in her bedroom. She could tell that her father was rather relieved of Faeron’s leaving, and told her that she shouldn’t think of it, and should get on with her life. Finally Sáralenn could stand it no longer. She packed her things, including her precious bow and a quiver of arrows, and escaped during the night. She changed her name to Alasseah Sáralondë, for she knew that her father would send out search parties and notify everyone possible to find his lost daughter. Alasseah wore a disguise with light armour, as it was a dark world, and anything might happen to her. Alasseah searched for weeks for any evidence or information about where Faeron had gone, but in vain, for she found precious little. Eventually she boarded a ship across the vast seas of Asulon, in hopes to go to Cloud Temple, and seek the monks for advice. Alasseah vowed that she would find Faeron, one day, even if it took her a thousand years.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?Alasseah, appalled at the injustice of the scene before her, marched over to the warriors. "Surely you men have better things to do than harry two halflings" she ejaculated, staring hard at the armed men. "Do you wish to join them?" one of the men chuckled. Alasseah swiftly placed an arrow on her bowstring, drew, and fired a shot just past the chuckling man's ear. Caught off guard, he and his friend turned towards the determined girl, with what could have been interpreted as fear, or anger in their eyes. "I said" Alasseah's voice becoming angry, "Surely you have better things to do", and she stared at them right up until the moment when they warily backed off, turned their backs, and left. Alasseah smiled again, and gave some bread to the halflings, "take care of yourselves now" she said.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?Alasseah turns and studies the man for a second, then decides that she may get some information out of him. "My dear sir, I am looking for someone that may have passed through here recently. A young human man, with light brown hair, green eyes and probably a bow at his side, he would have been alone, have you seen him?” The Merchant narrowed his eyes "Oh, my dear, I may have seen such a man, and if I have, I would be happy to provide information for a small f-" but he got no further. Alasseah grabbed the greedy merchant by the collar of his robes and drew his face very close to hers "Heed my words dear merchant" she murmmered angrily, "I do not wish to waste my time bribing with you over what small snippet of information that you may or may not have of my love, recount what you know to me right now, for I hear that an arrow in the wrist can be a very painful thing." "B-boy came to my store, and b-bought a map" stammered the merchant, "He asked how to get to the d-docks, then left."Alasseah, satisfied with her information, dropped the merchant, and strode off towards the docks.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Carefully, Alasseah scouted around outside, to try and find any possible owner of the hut. Returning with no success, She contemplates what to do. It would not do to leave them here in case bandits found them, but if there was an owner, she couldn't steal them... but then, there probably wasnt an owner. She snatched up the iron and the golden sword, and headed towards the closest village. As Alasseah's fighting skill lied with the bow and throwing knife, she decided to sell the sword, as well as the iron bars, for they would be too heavy to carry around everywhere.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Alasseah opened her mouth to answer, but she felt so dizzy that she could barely stand. She tried to ask for food, but all that came out of her was a small croak, before she collapsed unconscious. She awoke on a soft mattress, looking up at a dark-skinned human man. "It is good to see you awake, please take this" and he spooned warm mushroom soup into Alasseah's parched mouth. She tried to sit up, but found that she was too weak. After another deep sleep, she was finally able to stand, but she was still too weak to travel. The dark-skinned human was ever-present, helping the girl however he could. Often he asked her about her history, but she refused to speak of her past. When Alasseah was at last strong enough to be on her way again, the dark-skinned man asked her, "You will not stay?" Surprised, Alasseah turned to the man, "no, sir, I am on a quest, and I cannot stay" she said simply. The dark-skinned man seemed disappointed, "very well, there is a village north of here, they will be able to help you on your way, Farewell, and may your quest be successful." With that, Alasseah headed north.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:Wanting to test her skills on real bandits, Alasseah approached the leader, "Sir, I wish to offer my service. Bandits have no place in my heart." The leader looked her up and down, "You are a huntress?" "My skill indeed lies with the bow, sir" she replied. "Very well, I want you to scout around the bandit camp and find yourself a nice hidden spot, then report to me" the man pointed to a spot on his map. "I shall" Alasseah stated, and she ran nimbly outside the city gates.
