Men worked, children laughed, peasents tilled the fields. The nobles were off playing a game, and it was lucky they were inside, and out of sight of the man who was once Magnus Loken. It was Throdo, who felt his blows first, as he walked on his own, Magnus followed, twitching and mutter, then pounced on him as he was alone. Men came to help Throdo as the man who was once Magnus knocked him out, and it was then the king rope up to see what happened. Magnus fell to his knees, twitching and turning red, literally. Red as blood, and he grew in size. His helm, in the shape of a demons face, melded to Magnus' face, as the armor did too. covering sections of him. As he rose up, in his new form, with a blade near nine feet long, with serrated edges and a hooked tip, he let loose a bloodcurdling roar, and as he charged King Godfrey, it was like the sound of titans clashing. The fight went on for hours, blood was spilt, there were craters from damage, and everytime the beast formerly known as Magnus roared, or was cut, boiling blood poured out, or spattered anyone in it's path. The demon had the edge, and Godfrey was almost beaton, then the Prince Richard came running, in brandishing his axe and shouting "For Horen!" as he charged the demon in naught but his day clothes. Prince Richard slashed at the demon, scoring a wound that poured forth boiling blood. But the demon threw Richard back, as godfrey lay on the ground, slowly climbing to his feet. they regrouped, and gave a look to each other. They knew how to slay this beast. Richard stepped back, quite a few steps as Godfrey cupped his hands facing the sky. Richard ran at the hand, jumping, as Godfrey launched him onto the demon, and they roared "For Horen, For Renatus, For Glory!". Richard, flung in the air, tilted his axe back, then swings at the Demons neck, in mid air, as Godfrey brings out his balde, charging the demon, and stabbing it. The Demon, in rage, flung them both off, Richard lay on the ground, as Godfey watches the beast. As the beast fell, so did it's sword, turning from it's current serrated, and hooked form, to the iconic serrated sword of Magnus Loken. The demon fell on it's back, and turned, shrinkin in size, and the color changing to a normal color. The battered body of Magnus lay there. Magnus took shallow breaths, as the wounded Godfrey went up to him, and held up his head. Magnus sobbed, and apologized. Saying he knew his fate, and how he was sorry. Godfrey looked at him with loving eyes, and said "Worry not, Magnus. You will be in heaven with us all" Magnus smiled, and his last words are unknown to all but Godfrey, as he died, eyes bright blue eyes staring at the sky, and his smile soft, with his soul at peace. It was here he died.
