This is a tutorial video about our chest shop plugin on our server w/ commentary by a (very ill) Vaquxine!

EDIT: Only Steel VIPs and up will be able to create shops with this plugin. However any rank can be set as a shop assistant, which will allow you to control the stock and prices of a given shop. We'll be rolling this system out tomorrow, 5-26-12, in our next patch.

Just read up on this after watching the video. I must say this seems to be really good. But now its question time. Is this going to be a donator only thing? Is there going to be a limit on how many shops 1 player can have? Are you going to keep your shop at Cloud Temple? :P

Quick Tip That I Just Found: The easiest way to sell and or but an item in your shop is to hit the chest with that item and then just saying the prices you want in chat. This saves you from having to know all the Id numbers.

Anyone know how to change the skins on NPCs? I want to put a Merchant with my shop but don't even know if there is a skin for it.

The skins are those of the actual players. If you name your NPC "Ursolon", for example, it will appear with my skin and if you name it "Vaquxine" it will appear with his skin and so on.

There is more you can do than just that. I got my friend to help me. You can create an Npc with a name and it will take on that skin. for EX. /npc create Goblin you get a green goblin in some robes, try it

Just found out something that might hinder the plugins ability to make everyone happy. I'm sure everyoen will find out once they use alts who don't have permissions for the area the shop is in and try to buy. ~Hint: You can't open chests in areas you don't have permission for.

I think there's a flag in which shop chests are allowed to be opened, even if you don't have perms.

This. Even if worse comes to worse we'll just make a subregion inside, or just turn chest access on since the shop acts like LWC anyway.
