Streaking in Renatus is bannable? Even though it was meant to bring funny RP, and the players naked will not have innappropriate skins, and there will be no sexual RP?

I don't think streaking in a city like Renatus would make much RP sense unless your character was either insane ort has a penchant for being burnt at the stake or beheaded by the King.

You'd have to ask, really. Although I think the general consensus is that many players would not be able to RP it tastefully, therefore it safest for us to just ban it.

Although, remember, skimpyness is o-kay. You can run around in a bikini or whatever it is you want... don't expect to not be punished, though.

There will be no events leading to rape. There will be no descriptive or fade to blacks. They'll just skip the event with rape and move on to the next scene. It's just two parties making an OOC agreement that they'll just pretend that they raped her.

No fade to black. No RP. Just skipping a scene with rape.

Let's just RP like nothing happened and just say they raped the girl. ((with OOC agreement)) afterwards the girl gets scarred for life, after suffering from her abuse. Looking for a way to cope with her trauma.

Again. There's a few players that I know that use the rape as a key point in their character's development. However, there will be no RP'd rape, no fade to blacks, nothing. Just say the rape happened and RP as if it happened.

No descriptive cybering of any kind is tolerated, however *fade to black* is allowed. Rape in all forms, descriptive or *fade to black* is perma-bannable.

If you want my honest opinion...any allusion, infernece, mention even of character backstory of rape should be highly discouraged on a server that caters mostley to minors *people under 18*.

Not only for the reasons that Neko mentioned but also because some net predators and deviants get excited by even the mention of it. It's not a sex thing at all, it's about debasement and control. The last thing you want is to encourage any of that behaviour where there are minors, or to excite people who "get off" on this. Skype isn't monitored and it's way to easy to prey on the unwary.

There are many kinds of abuse, beating, starving, that would be just as effective as a character hook, I am at a loss as to why someone would want to even mention/allude to such a horrific act.

Also it's the most common yet un-reported crime. Most people know someone who was the victim of an attack and even reading character bio's that mention it can be pretty damaging. All in all it's something that I have only ever seen mentioned in RP/bio's in heavily adult communities. And even then with heavey warnings as it is pretty darn offensive to most people.

Just in case some are reading this topic and not realizing the severity of it, allow me to use a very real example I experienced while roleplaying on World of Warcraft.

Not to long ago, there was a guild on the server Moon Guard (US) that was not only shut down with all of the players losing their accounts but some real life charges were made against the Guild Leader and a few of the officers.

The guild was a "Brothel" ICly, allowing other players to pay their guildmates to "Cyber" with them through tells. The guild was very popular as you can imagine, but some of their guildmates were under the age of 18.

Not only this, but the Guild Leader "Cybered" with one of his guildmates who was also under the age of legal consent (Unknowingly of course).

There were no if, ands, or buts in the case as every player's account found to be in or associated with the guild was Perma-banned and you can find a few of them in an earlier edition of "Cuffed".

Freya is protecting herself and her players from this sort of thing happening here. If you feel the need to relieve your sexual tensions online with another person, I suggest games such as "Second Life" or many others simply by searching google.
