Pig Or No Pig

It is only fair to let the community decide whether they want to roleplay with the pigman in their midst.

Many seem to disfavour the GM support of my roleplay; so this is a chance for roleplayers to speak their minds. All are welcome to share their thoughts.

It is a choice I cannot make, because my decision wont come easy to those who oppose it. So I leave 21 days to have the community of LotC decide my fate.

In the sense that the votes favour the end of the pig, I will reroll my character with a race of suitable favoritism.

I oink, because its the only language that I am capable of communicating in. I can understand basic common much like a dog would, but do you see a pigman talking common in the future? This has always been a problem for me, whether to have the pig speak or not. None of this falls into lore, but from a basic standpoint, pigs oink in minecraft constantly. If my character were to attempt communication, it would oink and sometimes punch you to get your attention and they nibble at something it wants. But I appreciate that you are voicing your opinion.

I dont see any further rp in the pigman if he starts speaking like the common folk. Why in the world do we have talking cats? If we can have cats, why not pigs? The Kharajyr itself, is a breach in lore. My character makes no breach, due to the Undead having the capability of raising pigs to do their evil deeds.

I've always enjoyed the unique RP you offer. In my mind, there could be a lot more of this on LOTC. Wandering the lands, one could meet a Pigman, or a witch, or a mysterious peddler of strange goods. It creates a greater sense of intrigue and not knowing all of what is out there.

When I first joined the server, you were one of the first players that I met Björkgarr. Upon seeing you, it sort of gave me the impression that I would see more farm animal characters. Also, I think I made a comment about cooking you or something :P

Anyway, what do I think of the "living pigman"? I personally like the idea of your character for it is a unique addition to the server. It also adds to the lore of the server of the "mysterious" pigmen race who all but undead servants to Iblees (save one of course).

In practice however, everyone's reaction to your character (that I observed) can be summarized as "Oh look a pigman. I wonder if it taste like bacon... lets find out!". Yet there was that one person who insisted that it is some agent of evil and demanded your death. You did a great job conveying your character's fear to the situation.

Still, while your character's oinking and wiggling of it nose (as adorable as it is ^_^) is unique and realist, it cause limitations character interactions between each other. Still I think you should continue your legacy as the only live pigman! But I ask that you try to be more "man" than "pig".

I was very skeptical after you showed up at my Castle ingame. I was like "What the hell is that!"but I soon warmed up to the idea of a Player Pigman and now I think it is very unique and interesting. I am actually very pleased with rp you have exhibited. I am however, nervous that if this become more mainstream, people will use it as a troll. Like someone rp'ing as a wolf to pee on someones leg or something. I support it either way though.
