For the first few seconds I thought it was a major troll when I first walked in and saw you "*oink*" but afterwards I realised that you were RPing really well so it was interesting for me and definitely for my character too. (This was ALL RP'ed) That was a complete accident, ask StrifeOr, I brushed my touchpad. I didnt rp burning you, and I spoke to Strife about it. He thought I did it purposefully and left like a ******, but I logged back on, and yet you were probably somewhere else out of range to hear it. I smack people regardless to get their attention. Aerinyes 402 Share Posted June 11, 2012 While the idea of a living pigman is 'cute' it is still rather apocryphal. I would normally say something like this is fine, but it does pose some issues. Characters, specifically ones from Aegis are going to know Pigmen as bloodthirsty monsters. Yet we need a VA to properly RP that reaction with your character. That is of course you are willing to forego that and give ooc consent to everyone to RP as they will without a need for a VA. I'm not going to even think of asking you to do this however, its just being said for sake of arguement. As you can see their is an issue with characters, who are for all intents and purposes good characters. Cannot at times, properly deal with your character without breaking their RP. Yes I know, they 'COULD' just stop and try to understand that your pigman is friendly. But isn't that a bit metagamey? Should a character who's slain dozens of pigmen without a second thought to protect his home and family stop and go, "aww this one's not so bad..." I know many people probably do. But should all of them? Its the right and ethical thing to understand when a character isn't hostile. But our characters should never be 100% perfect. Hostility, bigotry, racism, prejudice, naivety, and ignorance make characters unique. If everyone was benevolent and understanding all the time, things would get rather boring yes? All I saw was you oinking, and your pig-sitter kicking me out for trying to speak to you. Try and RP with more body language and less oinkspam, and I think you can keep the pig. I want you to stop playing the pig, not because the pig idea is a bad idea, or that you do a bad job at it, or for the many people who seem to complain, but rather for a completely different reason. You are clearly very smart, and are clearly amazing at roleplay, people like you should be doing their best to put out some awesome role play for other people, and by you wasting your talent on being a pig, it kinda makes me sad. My character makes no breach, due to the Undead having the capability of raising pigs to do their evil deeds. Eh? How are Kharajyr a breach on lore. They are a race, not talking house cats.
