Vaq.. You made golden axes do less damage, wtf? I've got 200 points wrapped up in Axe, and now you make it less damage... not happy :(

The skills updates make perfect RP sense. It means you can actually fully take on a profession and not be able to do everything. I could, for example be a full on baker and chef. With chances of burning the food.

Something else mentioned in the patch, the getting more items per material based on level, also makes sense, as if you were more skilled, you would not waste as much resources and know how to work it better.

You still can do NINE, that's 9 hearts of damage on a crit -.-.

It was 1-hitting people!

Is it still better than the gold sword? :)

Also, isn't the gold axe just as good as diamond now

I have two things. Why would lumberjacking make you more experienced in fletching? Shouldn't -archery- make you more experienced in fletching? A lumberjack in real life probably won't know the difference between a shaft and vanes on an arrow. Archers on the other hand would know what they are, and actually know how to make bows and arrows.

Another thing is the glass block thing. The way it is right now, it can be abused and makes, quite frankly, no RP sense. A better way is to make it a "breathing rod" that only works up to a certain depth under water, such as 10 blocks. Under that, air applies again.

The only thing I really don't like is how I need to be a specific level to actually MAKE necessary items, such as swords.

The problem is, what if these "blacksmiths" aren't around to craft things for you?

I will miss the DIY version of LOTC

Nerfed Gold Axes? This could really put a damper on axes use. Will people be given a higher max skill level or a free reset? And on the limits, this could be very annoying for many people who live in Australia as they now can't build ANYTHING due to the few people on. Of course they can build their profession but basically you are limiting them to completely combat as building would take many more skills to build.
