Can you place them anywhere now?

Vaq said he is changing it so traps (webs) will be able to be placed in regioned areas. They will however dissapear after a while though.

And can we please get a comprehensive article on the wiki about the whole system.

Instead of spiders dropping the whole web, why not drop a single thread of spiders silk (string) its more rp then them dropping a fully made web. I think that placing two blocks of cloth to make one string is a little worthless, because it takes four string to create one block of cloth.

Other then that, the rest of the patch update is awesome.

I believe that it shouldn't take 15 lumberjacking to turn logs into planks. This makes everything else much harder for new players. Make it produce 1 plank at zero?

Spiders no longer drop web? Can it be crafted , I use web as smoke from chimneys.

Yes with two wool on top of each other. I personally think it should be one wool for four pieces of string because when you craft wool from string, you have to have four to craft just one piece of wool.

I said this in another post so I will say it here again. I believe that the recipe for the string from wool should stay the way it is. This is so that string becomes an uncommon substance. If you got 4 string from every wool, or 18 as some people are suggesting, then archers would make heaps of traps and sell them, and sooner or later everyone on the server would have a stockpile of traps. This would ruin the fun of them in my opinion.

Yeah, you're right. I was too busy thinking about making the recipes match up that I didn't really think about how it would affect the economy.

We still need all-round skill resets.

I agree. There simply aren't enough cooks, lumberjacks and smiths to keep up with the demand now that people can't craft stuff themselves. And people in Australia like me have the problem of there only being 10 people on so it is hard to find people to buy things from. This just takes the fun out of it. If the server had a much higher population then this new patch would be loads of fun, people could just walk down to their corner store to buy supplies when they need it.

But because of the low population on the server, buying goods means posting on the trade forum and then waiting days for replys and then waiting longer to arrange a time to meet up in-game. This just takes the fun out of it.

EDIT: On the plus side of this patch I no longer have to buy coal. I now have chests full of it thanks to my very bad luck with cooking (It says I have a 30% chance but I am only successfully cooking 3% of my bread)

Can we promote you to Duke...or some other awesome title. I am very honored to have you and all the rest of the LoTC staff leading us.

I believe a hybrid in this case is when you use two skills in conjunction with eachother for the benefit of both.

Is the lack of seeds being returned by farming a bug? I got maybe one or two seeds for a crop of about 20 wheat.
