~IC~

Both the wilderness and the darkness doth flourish, as if Spring has arisen in full bloom. It would seem many a hunter has made their way to the tavern and markets with coats like odd suits worn across the shoulders, the inquiries seem to be the same; much has changed in the environment since first beaching onto Asulon. The hunters seem like oracles as they share their new-glory stories across the many tables as they gamble, drink, and show what game they've tracked recently. These poachers both for profit and for their own guarantee of living their fullest years exclaim mightily of how it would seem the fauna is evolving; creatures rising and falling. They choke on their liquor as many interested peoples attempt to allow the huntsman to divulge where he has gathered such exotic pelts.

Within the unknown that lies in those deepest forests, the densest jungles, the most arid of deserts is forces that seem to concoct the oddest of life forms and sends them as to be observed and their adaptations judged. What many may not realize upon sighting such eccentric and exotic pelts are that they belong to creatures just newly discovered; as said creatures tarry no longer within the unexplored and venture into lands markedly touched and stepped upon by human, dwarf, orc, and elf. These huntsmen hide behind the smirk at the lavishing of many demanding such pelts for money and more, knowing that they've become the first to cross paths with species not known to inhabit Asulon. As they relish in the bathing of respect, wonderment, and intrigue, they know that the migrating Wolves and Ocelots will soon become increasingly sought after and hunted as more and more migrate into areas of more passing and occupation. Much to the chagrin of these same huntsman, their short bows and longbows sit rather unused as they ponder upon the disappearance of what many called 'Blazes or Fire-Spits'.

In one such tavern, close to the Cloud Temple, one huntsman describes his account of something of a more alarming issue. With a flurry of hand gestures and inoculating onomatopoeia, he describes how alongside a greenhorn juvenile, he and his partner had been caught by surprise at the tenacity of the dangerous creatures known as the Disquiet Dead. With his left hand, he rolls up the sleeves of his leather tunic with fingers encrusted with animal fat as he reveals the scars held close to the shoulder blade. He bears a grimace as the leather rubs coarsely across the scarred tissue, yet keeps his composure as he notices the many purveyors of such a wound as the tavern fills with gasps and bemoaning of the seemingly subtle adaptation of the Disquiet Dead. One observer, awkwardly gazing at the wound and trying to discern what had caused it exactly, looks up at the man and acquires why the huntsman had not sought to flee into the daylight. With that, the huntsman in his weariness of the observing tells him simply, ‘They don’t seem to burn anymore...’, and lifts himself heftily off his seat and walks out of the tavern, leaving the tune of the anguished behind.

~OOC~

- Thanks to Gaius Marius for this wonderful write-up!

- Wolves and Ocelots will now spawn in place of Blazes.

- Mobs no longer burn from the sun, but some become passive during the day.

[[ Everyone, keep in mind that this is still an IC post. Use brackets for OOC, but try to refrain from using it anyways. Thanks! ]]

((Packs of wolves can get aggressive, this can really be a problem if you are calmly walking the roads and THERE ARE ANGRY PACKS OF WOLVES EVERY WHERE!! e-e ))

Rina's eyes beam with utter joy. She instantly goes out into the wilderness to find the one things she has always wanted in life, a dog. She knows she can tame a wolf, being patient and kind.

((one big thing wrong with mobs no longer burning, and instead just becoming passive, is the mobs will just sit about, increase in numbers, and then kill us all during the night when they are no longer passive... idk why they just didn't make it so all agressive mobs burned during the day...))

[[ Aggressive mobs such as Zombies and Skeletons don't spawn during the day, so they won't increase in numbers. It's the same way it was before, but instead of the sun doing the killing, it's the players. ]]

((right, but what if you want to just walk from place to place, instead of having to fight everything that you end up encountering during the night. What if you're a craftsman who is wanting to travel a long distance without armor and cannot end up doing so because you'd have to wear armor to get through the night. It due to It also makes night travel extremely difficult :/ also, because the mobs don't die during the day, the passive mobs will end up spawning less because the agressive mobs will not die, this is why i didn't think that passive, agressive mobs aren't a good idea. Not trying to hate/flame, just trying to point out flaws, and seeing if they have solutions thought up by you guys.))
