Damnation! Files were too big. I am late half hour with that map of mine...

Regardless: Me map that caused dozen of sleepless nights.

First is without borders - second with.

I have altered the map, so there is no need for these to block view.

See: Page 5th

Burned Map with borda

Trivia:

The final stitching was done with Gimp 2.8.0, the fonts I used: Aniron, Elven Common Speak, Viking, Fanjofey, FairyDust. Drawing with help of Pentel Pen, Staedtler perm.lum. and ecco pigment (the basic ones). The leviathan eating da boat is from the old british map- just couldn't help myself... If the city is not listed on da map it doesn't mean author did it on purpose :? (only that there was nobody present at it- repeatedly).

If this is too much, or not enough time - please let me know!

Great work so far, cartographers

First map has been updated, I don't need more time cause I'm done. Sorry for confusion, both pictures were made in the same time. The updating lag happened because of me unplanned nap :-P.

.

Thanks for good feedback guys!

This is some art, Bism. I cant even imagine what kind of map other contestants would need to put on to beat yours...

Why didn't I discover this sooner? I am just fond of maps about fictional worlds. I am currently making a map based on my own creation, but I do like Bism's map, it's fabulous, I also like the other ones added here, but Bism's has the most character and art to it, and effort. It is what the server needs, it's really immersive and really brings out the realm of Asulon.

May I ask you how it was made? Did you draw the mountains and icons yourself? Because I really like them, reminds me of the Middle-Earth map.

Only just discovered this thanks to Antharin which is a real shame however some of the entries are amazing!

DecoLamb - Your map fits the purpose exactly and I like the Cartoon style I didn't think would work as the realistic style always fits better with RP servers. However your map ingores that by the colour choice from the border lines to the sea colour. You have picked such a flow in colours that just bring the map to feel realistic. I also highly like the way you made parts of the map lighter. I am unsure of what this is supposed to represent but again it gives a good feel. I will say however the mountain areas and tree areas ect don't fit in well. They look like they have just been stuck on the map. In the final piece I would recommend in trying to make the area all green instead of a green 'blob' then giving it a dark shadow what seems to be a shadow. Overall a really good map and I love the cartoon style and not the realistic style and the nation logo's. A great piece of work.

Bism - Your map made my compute lag HARDCORE. I can't even scroll up and down this map. If this is just me then mehh but if it's for everybody you might want to stick it in a spoiler. I will say your map is Beautiful; the detail is just mind blowing. This is unlike Decolamb's a realistic looking map and I would give a 10/10 for the execution and you should feel very proud of yourself for that map. As for the map for Lord Of The Craft personally I think it's far to big for the purpose it will be using. Also this map will be used my new players a lot in which I don't think the main city's are as obvious. They have no personality to them it's just a name with a castle which to be fair to you for us that's perfectly fine but for new players they won't be able to remember what each nation is for unlike DecoLamb's where each nation logo resembles the nation.

Overall I think both maps are amazing for there own factors and don't think its possible to say one is better than the other because one if Cartoon and one is realistic. Two very different cat-orgies. When choosing the map for LOTC I personally think with a lot more attention to detail DecoLamb's map would fit the purpose more however this is just my personal opinion.

The map was drawn by hand and then scanned, so aside the names everything is handmade and then stitched together in gimp. The borders almost made me lose my mind.

Well Native did write that the map have to be big enough for players to navigate roads. It can always be resized.
