Eleatic 1033 Share Posted July 10, 2012 ~ - House Fireeyes - ~ -~ - Ancient Lore - ~-Once upon a time, which is an odd way of starting this story, considering it actually happened, there was a small, reclusive island, about forty leagues away from Aegis. This island was home to an establishment, this establishment being a small, hardly established noble house, House Fireeyes. The island, as said earlier, was secluded to the lot of the world, but there was a problem. War. Civil War broke out across the lands. In a desperate attempt to flee, the noblemen abandoned their island and set out to find a new place to settle. As they sailed, they came across an island. It was closer to the mainland, but it was still a ways out. Eleven members of House Fireeyes came to this island, and settled on it. The years went by, and as they went, they kept making additions to their new place of living. Eventually, as many years had passed, they had a glorious keep upon the island. They named this keep, Firestone. They prospered on these islands, growing and 'raising' their food, but with the little rain they had, it was difficult to grow food. They made do, but they would've appreciated more rain. And, just as fate likes to do sometimes, it pulled a nasty trick on the noblemen's house. The quantity of rain began to drop, as the downpours became drizzles, and eventually stopped. Slowly and steadily, the island entered a deadly drought, killing the crops and creating a lack of water for the members of the house. They tried to go about their lives as usual, as though nothing was out of the ordinary, but this was a futile attempt. Slowly, nine of the original eleven members died of hunger. The two that remained were forced to eat the remains of the others, becoming cannibals for survival, but the food was still lacking. Eventually, they ran out of siblings to eat, and were faced with survival. They fled the island, hoping to stumble upon some land with food on it, abandoning their second home; the one that took them so long to build. The two that remained had stumbled upon the mainland of Aegis. Berill, and Moralinda, the latter carrying a child; an unborn Tavari Fireeyes.-~ - Hierarchy - ~-~ Ranks of the Guard ~-Novice Guard - New-Recruit. Just joined.-Apprentice Guard - Showing Valor, loyalty. Increasing in rank.- Adept Guard - Continuously being an honorable member of the guard.-Master Guard - A year within the guard, with the rank of Adept.-Captain of the Guard - One man. Pre-picked. -~ Ranks of the Bannermen~- Bannerman-Warrior-~ - Oath - ~-I,_____ Pledge my hand in battle, to house Fireeyes. I pledge to follow their tenants. Be just and true to my superior's. To follow them into battle, and if necessary. Die for them. I pledge all of this, to the gods of all the race's. Wether be Malin, Krug. Helgar 2 Share Posted July 10, 2012 [Application]] - [[]] MC Name: Malteserlord RP Name: Helgar Abdiel Race: Dark Elf Age: 400 Short Biography: When Helgar first came to Asulon he felt Lost and slightly worried, But since that time Helgar has done many things in that long time space. Helgar ended up joining the Ascella Army and was put in the Division of Mirach the Elite force of the army Or the ones who had served for a while. He later met a man called Barry Johnson a who which he became very good friends with and soon earned himself a house in the great nation of Skravia And also while this was Happening Helgar befriended a man in red robes, they soon Hatched a Plan to make a town.Soon the town became a great place and got offered help from friends. That was Until Tavari came bearing news about Inheriting a small island not far from the mainland, The island was surrounded by a stone thick wall and one way and one way out, Meanwhile in Skravia Helgar joined the Guardforce and vowed to defend it, But this was all too smooth sailings as Skravia soon was Lefted in Dust with only a few people remaining most left due to Regular bandit attacks or the rare dragon attack, And Tavari left the world through Poison, This left Helgar lost and confused Helgar once had many things but all of a sudden they was all gone He did not know what to do and so lost his place of power and freinds... [skill's/RP Prowess] Ability in combat: Lumberjack 40 Swordsmanship 75 Fishing 8 Farming 50 Blacksmithing 102 RP:Dual Wield swords,Used to be a Lord of Rienna. He was raised in a bandit camp after his mother's death, ran off when he reached maturity, and stayed in a nearby village, lifting heavy loads for a baker to pay off his stay. Shortly after he became a hunter, and wandered, eventually coming to a group of people who lead him to a town named Skravia. After many years in Skravia he left, joining a noble family in Oren by the name of House Talos.
