The Lights Soar Above

The Halfling wears his dark green cloak, as he shuffles discreetly past the hustle and bustle of Arethor's city square. He nearly topples over a few times, due to the crowd, but his stature leaves him unnoticed. After a few moments of relentless pushing and pulling, he finally escapes from the mob of busy humans, and rushes without a word past the library.

His hands find themselves pulling up the ladder to the wall. A couple of seconds pass, before he's sneaking past the archers that patrol the wall. His small feet leave relatively no sound as they scatter across the sturdy stone bricks. His breath is held as he arrives at the wall's tower. The crowd can be heard below, shouting for wares. Bili remains unnoticed as he climbs up the tower, and onto the tallest peak of the wall. At this, he swivels his head around, searching for any unwanted eyes.

The Halfling's hands slowly slide into his pocket, pulling out a small, thick sack that is stained blue. A curly fuse lies at its end. Bili sets these aside, and digs through his pockets once more to retrieve a match, which he strikes against a rough section of the wall. A tiny flame warms his face in the cold night air, before he presses it to the bag's fuse. It sparks, and Bili propels the bag high into the air, above the city.

A large cracking noise splits through the air, as the sky above is met by blue sparks that rain high above the crowd below. They seem to fall momentarily, before vanishing into the air.

((This is to address my Halfling character, who has been doing this quite often. Hope you liked reading it!))
