Ravenwolf Hunters League

A group devoted to "hunting", of any creature higborn or low, for the right price.

Created a few years after the fall of Aegis it was originally devoted to the Hunting of servants of evil and the corrupt, however few jobs were completed as wars fought gave little opportunity for the League. Even after the full establishment of Orenian power the League was silent, perhaps even dead.

However a few years later two "Hunters" worked together to find and hunt down a man, a nobleman who was guilty by all accounts for his enslavement of his citizens. When they reached the nobleman they were greeted with a welcome of kindness and were offered a proposition. To work for him and his gold and serve as his personal "hunters". The Shadow Hunter agreed as he had nothing to live off of, but the Blood Hunter left saying he refused to serve any corruption.

For years the Shadow Hunter or Raven Hunter served loyally as a true "hunter", but the day came when his noble employer saw fit to place a bounty on his old friend and comrade. This would not stand and so he went to his friend and they together at last killed the old, and corrupted man. They wished to bring the League back, but the Raven hunter wished to also work for gold so that he might still live in comfort, despite the corruption gold would lead to the Wolf Hunter agreed and they reformed the Ravenwolf Hunters League.

Even now they continue to work together and have begun to gain new recruits into this shadowy and dark organization.

Ranks

- New Blood -

One who has just joined and needs to prove themselves as true hunters.

- Fledgling Hunter -

One who has completed a few jobs and earned their aspect.

- Wolf Hunter or Raven Hunter -

One who has completed the full rights of the League.

- Blood Wolf or Shadow Raven -

Unknown how one obtains this rank as few have even heard such ranks.

- Dark Flyer and Crimson Prowler -

Supposed name for the leaders but it is unknown who they truly are.

Aspects

Wolf Aspect

Those members know for their vicious manner in their attacks and known for their devotion to their work, they focus on torturous deaths, fighting well, and public killings in the eye of the public. Known also for their public bounty captures, dead or alive.

Raven Aspect

These members focus on silence, stealth, and cunning. Assassination, and kidnapping are the best traits of these members, known more for range than the Wolf Aspect, but they are still formidable foes on the battlefield.

((All information prior to Contracts are within a book held by the two leaders of the League, only members of the League can ever see this information and only within the presence of one of the two leaders.))

Contract Types

*Assassination - Killing of political, personal, or public enemies in a silent and hidden fashion, however currently still some monks save these men and women who are killed so do not expect permanent results.

***Public Killing - Killing of political, personal, or public enemies in a public manner, either quickly or even bloodily so that a message can be made, rarer that monks save these men and women, but currently still can happen.

**Torture - The taking of any political, personal, or public enemies in a manner which with extreme pain or suffering can change them, sometimes permanent injuries can be made in order to leave a message for the remainder of their lives.

***Kidnapping - The capture of any political, personal, or public enemies so that ransom can be made or even to remove a person from a situation for a long period or time.

We are not spies nor scouts, once we complete the job we expect payment or the League will hunt you. Each star represents the difficulty of such an operation and that extends the payment higher, however each payment is based on each job, the more secure the person, the more it will cost.

The League takes its payments preferably in Gold and Diamond, but we will accept minas, iron, bows, sticks, armor, and arrows in larger quantities as a suitable alternative.

We do not allow people to just apply to the League, you must prove yourself worthy and we will seek you out, but letters to the League are acceptable.

*You see a contract made in parchment along with hundreds of others sitting in a pile in an indiscreet area, there seems to be areas like these all over Asulon. There seems to be explanations of different contracts on the back of these pieces of parchment.*
