In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:

Roleplaying is the art of living a life through a character you invent using your own imagination. It is when you are fully engulfed in a surrounding that implies the use of creativity.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is when one takes knowledge that others would have no way of acquiring and using it to their benefit for a minor or major gain whist in-game.

An example of this would be if Player1 made an application on Lord-Of-The-Craft and his character had the magical ability to turn people into dust; he could potentially use that in PVP encounters to simply win any fight with no real challenge what-so-ever.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:

This is when someone takes the idea of Role-Playing and makes it no fun for anyone. (I have had my experience with this type of Role-Player..) In general, the idea of power-emoting is to bypass real roleplaying to instantly gain a pre-determined outcome.

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Lanolar was born and raised in the Provence of Princedom of Malinor. From birth, he had a dark purple skin, his eyes were a dark grey "Beautiful" some would say. As a child he was naturally adventurous and enjoyed the challenge of climbing the tallest tree he could find. He continually got lost in his own thoughts about what living life outside of childhood must be like; it can be a lonely place as an Elven child. Lanolars mother was a very loving woman, and she had a stern husband who showed Lanolar the path to manhood and how to hold your own in the land of Asulon. Growing older now, Lanolar could tell he was becoming agile, and a good bowsman. His father would often take him hunting, though what they would kill was strictly for survival and never for sport.

"There is no point to taking life, unless it is used to further benefit the well-being of those around you, and those who it impacts directly." Said his father.

His parents were that of a noble standing. They were not wealthy, nor did they have any recognisable place among the people; they were rich in knowledge-- and they passed this valuable knowledge unto Lanolar to use at his will.

For one hundred and fifty eight years he lived in the peace and tranquility of his home land..Though he new that he needed more for his life. Today was the first day he set out into the world of Asulon-- his only mission is to bring peace to a highly dangerous and intimidating world.

What are your characters ambitions?:

My characters ambitions are to set out into the world to bring peace and spread his knowledge of tranquility upon the dark world of Asulon.

He plans to make allies along the way, gain influence through significant people and hopefully make a dent of positive difference in the world.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character?

Although he is trained with a bow, there is much he can learn about it. Lanolar is also a very talented designer, though the opportunity to actually build what he designs is slim.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

"Hello! How are you today Dwarf?"

"OI! Come 'n' buy mah warres!"

Afraid to upset the so obviously desperate Dwarf, Lanolar approaches the stand to see he is selling things of some decency.

"How much for 5 of these arrows?"

Lanolar could see they were good arrows; Clean and sharp with little to no abnormalities in the wood shaft.

"Th't'll run yeh 'bout 50 Minears thar!"

Clearly the Dwarf was attempting to jip Lanolar for a few extra coin, but he figured a little charity couldn't hurt anyone and payed the full 50 Minas.

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I would be quick to react but not in an aggressive way. I would take action by awakening the Monk on hand and would inform him of the progressive situation outside.

"It is in need of your immediate attention!"

Both the monk and I would confront the Orc and the Dwarf to quickly diffuse the situation.

"Brothers, this is a place of peace; please. All I ask is that you take your hate and anger outside the gates of our sacred sanctuary and either fight, or make up out there. Have a nice day."

I would be sure to follow the two out the door to ensure nothing else were to happen.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Initially I would be much more concerned for the old man than any amount of money. To me, life is too fragile to waste away on material things such as Minas, he swoops down from where he was sitting to aid the old man.

"Thank you there boy. I seem to be in dire need of a stronger stick!" The old man lets out a light chuckle. To my amazement the old man is fine and needs no assistance from here on, crouchingly, the elderly man proceeds to the forest to acquire a new walking stick and continues along his way.

"Sir! You seem to have forgotten your bag of money!"

I could not seem to get the mans attention. He pickes up the sum of coin to find it weighs him down a good ammount 'no wonder he tripped and fell' I thought; I pursued the man along the degrading cobble walkway to give him back his well-earned minas.
