MrSyth 637 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Hearing the ungrateful dwarf speak, Silvos turns red with anger himself as well. "Call for my head!? Are you out of your mind!? I came here to support you, ye fecker! But ya know, Gorum is right! This city never belonged to you," Silvos stops for a moment, thinking of what he's about to say. Then, he continues "...never to any of you! As he points across the room, he starts shouting even louder. "You all shouldn't have been here! It was all supposed to go differently! Why did you come here in the first place!?" With that, Silvos pulls himself together and leaves again, calling his elves to head back to the estate. At last, he shouts "Come find me at my estate, if you think we can actually have a word!" Then, to his fellow elves, he sais: "Let us hope Kyral does better." youlovesocks 652 Share Posted September 19, 2012 *kayne has been quiet most of the meeting but is outraged and disappointed with Silvos...and catches his arm before he managed to leave. "Are yeh feckin' kidden me, silvos?! This meetin' 'as nothin' tu du with yeh. Yeh walked in loike yer da king of Alras fer 'eaven sakes, threatening yer way in... yer luckeh da guards didn't draw their swords on yeh at the sight of yer bowman!" Sits down in utter disgust at the amount of disrespect happening in the meeting. "It's not yer place tu talk tu Gulroid loike tha' in a hall filled with angreh dwarves! Now get out!" *points his finger directly at the door, angry and torn with amazement.
Gorum© 623 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Gorum chuckles. " Oi relax would ye Gulroid! Dis ain't somethin' tu get mad about at all, an' if ye du wan' tu recall th' incident where we did argue, ye did insult me first. Ah am a dwarf, ah would insult back. But aye, do what ye want wit' th' citeh, but th' lands around it and th' rest ov Alras will not be sold. " Gorum says before he is interupted by Silvos. He raises an eyebrow, feeling sympathy for the elf. He then stands up when Gulroid throws his cup, ready to throw his own cup at the wall as well. " Gulroid, we can take dis tu th' 'igher dwarven council if ye would like! Dis isn' a decision dat onleh ye could make an ah can prove it to ye. Ah simply will not allow Oren to control th' lands that WE went through so much trouble tu get. Years ov bein' ridiculed, FER FECKS SAKE WE EVEN MADE TH' FROS'BEARD NAME 'ATED ALL JUS' TU GET THIS LAND IN DWARVEN POSESSION. " Gorum paces back and forth, clenching his fists. zuluman 79 Author Share Posted September 19, 2012 "Oren is not te be de controller of dese lands Gorum. De Queen will rule dese lands an' plans te make it an independent merchan' city. If ye canno' see dat dis is fer de best den go up an' complain te de oder high lords. See wha' 'appens an' who laughs in yer face. De deal 'as alreadeh been struck. Ye migh' even cause anoder war wif yer insolence. Loike I said de Citeh of Alras 'as been sold, along wif de farms dat were destroyed durin' de Uruk war. De rest of de land is unda de direct control of de Dwarven nation an' dat is not up fer me to decoide." Gulroid glances around the room at the faces of the other Dwarves present. He begins to pile up the papers he had laid out on the table signaling that the meeting was drawing to a close. THUNDER37 162 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Aeven's footsteps clatter on the cobbles as he walks along the streets of Alras, stepping towards the Dwarven hold as his long coat flutters in the wind behind him. It was only as Aeven approached the entrance of the Dwarven hold that the guards revealed themselves, their hands firmly placed on their blades as they look to him with stern eyes when one of them speaks. "Hold it right there, Lord Gulroid is having a meeting an-" Aeven blurts out, his voice stern as he look to the guard with his ageing eyes "Lad! Do not even start with me right now.. This city would not even be 'ere without me so shift yer arse out'a me way before I shift it fer ye. Go get Gulroid if ye must but I am attending that meeting. Go on, get him and stop wasting me god damned time already." Aeven stands, placing his arms behind his back as his hands join in await of the soldiers responce
Wizard 125 Share Posted September 19, 2012 William sits in shock as he hears Silvos's clear disrespect for Gulroid. When Gulroid gives his final statement, William speaks one final time as well. Yeh all know of t'e turmoil t'e Goldhands went through t'e get t'e city. Weh spent countless 'ours rebuildin' ah broken citeh. Now, weh 'ave all come back ter our brethren in Karik, and ye are not content. T'e queen said ye can live in Kal'Alras if ye loike, so ah say if ye aren't happy, ye moight as well leave. Complainin' is not helpin' the dwarven nation.
Serf 647 Share Posted September 19, 2012 *Slumps down in his chair abit, and fondles his beard for a moment. He then rises slightly from his seat, and eyes Gulroid meaning his statement to be directed to him.* "There be aboot 'as much lands 'as there be in tae area 'o tae farms in Kal'Alras. Good enoogh fer minin', an' good enoogh fer lumber, nae just wheat, an' food. With tae rubble from tae orcish wars, I dunnae see why we clear oot, an' from wot I saw before tae wars, tae land be still plagued from tae last great plague. (Not the plague where Caseus died.) I saw nae effort tae contain, ur repair tae farms since tae war, an' since we moved in tae Kal'Alras, hooever I knoo with as big as Kal'Alras be, there be a lot 'o things tae focus on, so I dunnae blame ye fer nae cleanin' that up. Hooever there be nae excuse fer a clean up, an' 'ave a work fer tae clean tae mess up. If all tis meetin' be violence, an' arguments I say tis meetin' be fer nothin'. Obviously we cannae 'ave a proper meetin' withoot bein' at eachothers throots.
Arkelos 1027 Share Posted September 19, 2012 -Meanwhile, at the farms- Two guards from Aeroch Nor were sent to explore the holes that plague the farms, taking notes as they figure out how much fertile topsoil would be needed, as well as pure minerals and solid stone. They converse to each other of their notes as they go back to work, looking for more holes to take note of. It is quite clear that this area will be top priority in restoring and bringing life back into, due to the need of food for the guards. They take note of the plagued and burned crops, already having their masks covering their mouth as they take samples, if this be a new strain Kyral would surely want to examine it and cure it before use. -Back to you, Goldhand meeting-
zuluman 79 Author Share Posted September 19, 2012 As the guards enter to announce the arrival of Aeven, Gulroid motioned for them to let him in. The meeting had already gone south, how could one more voice possibly make it worse. Gulroid nods his head at what William as he speaks. "Aye. No one is forcin' ye te leave. Stay 'ere fer all I care." Next Gulroid turns to Thoak to address his accusations. "Thoak 'ave ye been te de old farms? 'ave ye seen dem? Dey require a fair amoun' of fixen' up. I didno' see a reason at de toime. Why rebuild de farms on de border of an enemy. It posed too noice of a target. Besoides de farmers relocated te differen' fertile land an' under Caseus' control dey were very productive. There was no' point te reconstructin' dem. We 'ad workin' farmers dat were bettah planned out dan de old ones, an' we could no' support two farms anyway."
THUNDER37 162 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Aeven enters, his ageing eyes looking around the room, giving a slight nod to each of the Dwarves before taking a seat at the table and speaking "Right lads, first of all I'd like te know your reasons for selling this land.." Aeven turns his head to Gulroid, awaiting a responce

THUNDER37 162 Share Posted September 20, 2012 A remote chuckle leaves Aeven's lips as he turns to Kayne Don't tell me what I should'a done Kayne.. I've been busy taking care of this place, even after ye leader here sold it. Now I'm here fer a nice chat, not to be belittled by you. So shut yer trap and let constructive words be spoken. With that Aeven turns back, looking around the other end of the room, awaiting for someone to speak
Aptrotta 162 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Hydrose barges into the room. Sweat drips off his forehead and his beard is matted down. He is panting like a dog. Between breaths, he is able to speak. He says, " Wh..Wh....what did I miss? Just ran all tae way from Karik." Hydrose then notices the ale and begins to drink a lot.

MrSyth 637 Share Posted September 21, 2012 - Meanwhile, at the Sythaerin Estate - Silvos stands tall across the armed elves, as they have their own meeting. Wine is served and ideas are shared. Silvos stands to make an announcement: "My llir, it has come to my attention that the bortu will soon be leaving this city. Yet they might be staying within the bortu district, and keeping it as a hold. I believe this is ayla, as they've at least done some good to this city. Also, Queen Kyral has informed me that the old city will not be taken down, as it will be the 'old city' district. This pleases me, and I hope the bortu and us will be able to live here without much difficulty." The meeting continues, it's attendees pleased with the results. - Back to the Goldhand meeting -
