I hate to be "that guy" but why not just do it now, two days with no infomation and a lot of people are sitting around popping back and forth waiting.

The move to give the power to change it should have never been in one's hand int he first place, it's to reliant and if something bad happened to them (Goodness forbid) then a lot more people are affected.

Server funds are something to consider here,

We still have nearly 20 days with limestone networks (We pay in monthly installments), last I spoke with vaq he was not dis-interested by any means but I do agree with the fact that the server should be brought up - and soon.

I'm an admin of a small survival server and we're using beastnode. Never had any problems with them, amazing performances and stuff. I don't know if they would be able to host a server with 300 slots as it's not in their official prices but I'd suggest trying!

If possible could you clarify what exactly the problem is with Limestone that is prompting the switch?

I believe you could pursue legal action with this act -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_Fraud_and_Abuse_Act

I have not researched it thoroughly, but I think that there might be something that you can do legally with the DDoS'ers.

The problem is with people who do ddos attacks are nearly impossible for the average joe shmoe to track. The best course of action is to either have a backup server and software/hardware to prevent these attacks.

Limestone does not offer any kind of DDOS protection or benefits and if we remove some resource heavy plugins we can definitely be paying less per month or the a similar amount with added protection. From what Ive read about various systems like "Black Lotus" it seems like best option would be to move to a host that caters to servers who experience DDOS attacks

I heard a rumor the DDoSers are some Brazilians that want their server to be popular.

I'm not sure. There has been a lot of mixed views about them. Some people say it is a complete scam, and others say they are great.
