Who may be the leader of Winterfell? The gates have been locked for nearly a month and I am unable to hail any guardsmen.

I am hoping to lend my services to the village and possibly take up residence within it's walls. My name is William Loire, feel free to contact me by any means possible. I shall be living in the Travelers lodge for the time being.

You don't want to live there. The place is empty. They have only a couple of residences and almost everyone is a guard. Alstion is better or maybe you could live in the south? Snowy Fields is crowded and only has one small house for sale at the moment so it would be hard to get a house to live in. Not to mention there is a massive obsidian walled undead fort in the north. The road to Alkhazar is gone. OOC: Hardly any of them are online often except for their scout.

My path lies north not south and I no longer have need for a road to the capital. I am saddened to hear that the village that supposedly guards the North is barely inhabited, I suppose that is a given for the environment. I will give thought to Traveling south to Alstion in the next few weeks. Thank you for your help.

((That's too bad, Winterfell honestly looks amazing architecturally. Whoever designed it is quite talented.)

Homes within the walls of Winterfell are sparse, all of which have been bought. Vance, the captain of the watchmen is currently on an expedition ((away camping)) and because of this there have been no additions to the watch. Also watchmen who may have left have not had the opportunity to submit official documents for transfers to other towns.

As for the Winterfell - Alkhazar road via the King Edmund Bridge, it will be rebuilt in due time ((it vanished along with alot of land between Alkhazar and Snowy Fields)).

Due to Winterfell being a bastion of the north, mainly guards would reside here hence the limited housing.

On a side note if you decided to stay the night in our new Travelers Lodge I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Sorry. I didn't know I had to do anything but tell al of you that I moved to have moved. I am sorry for the Edmund bridge being destroyed like our old bridge it was a very useful way to get to Alkhazar. I hope they will be rebuilt.

"Pffts", we are not crowded at all Tylos, way to promote the town youre captain of the guard in !

Crowded would mean all available space in our town would be filled with houses, people living clustered together, like a big city slum or someting.

Thats opposite the atmosphere we want with Snowy Fields, Im sad you experience it this way.

We try to keep decent spacing between houses, keep them low and humble, and add bushes and greenery. We use rather wide pavements to make it easy to navigate and a non-crowded feeling. We build all ourselves to keep a clean arcitecture and style.

True, most houses are sold out, but we still have a decent amount of space to build new houses on, as well as the Mage guild living quarters that is underground and will house quite a few people.

We also accept house orders. Name your size and expectations, you get a price and pay 25% to reserve and initiate the build, we build and deliver it within reasonable time.

We also now have plenty of shops to claim in our new marketplace.

>>

William Loire, come visit Snowy Fields, maybe you would like to settle down there.

If you cant find a house available, we can build one for you within reasonable time.

Sorry. I didn't use the right words. I don't think the town is crowded. I just meant we can't fit too many more houses and I was warning him of that. A way to fix this problem would be having outskirts like Alstion.((They would need to be protected)) I am sorry for stating myself badly.

The problem with outskirts in Snowy Fields is its so close to the undead headquarter that it would be very unsafe to live outside the city walls. That also goes for Alstion, which Im sure they agree on.

Theres a reason for the defence systems we have put up, theres almost not a day without undead harassment.

Thank god we have such a capable guard force, and friendly allies from both Alstion and AlKhazar frequently coming to aid.

We have plans for the north part of our town. The old farm out there will be removed, and we will move the wall to include it. So we can still house maybe 10-20 more people.

That is before our underground expansion *smiles*, but all in due time. Our focus right now is to represent the mage guild as well as we can, and try to keep up on the demand for new houses.

Good. Sean told me about the underground expansion, as dark and ugly(because of all the dirt and stone)as it may sound we need more space and that would be a perfect way to get more space. I think we should get buckets, fill them and pour water over the ruined orc outpost so we can use that to spy on the undead.(Who used to own the place? We would need permission)That way we would be able to see if they are about to attack without running right up to them and getting struck by lightning. We could have archers to kill undead that are coming to close for comfort. So I think getting that old outpost back would be a good idea.

Definatly a good idea, when we are able to (protection removed), we can contribute

in erasing all traces of the undeads, and it should look like they had never been there.

Not to derail the topic any further but I'd like to reserve a medium to preferably large house within the Snowy Fields city proper. I've got 4k mina and a small house just outside Alstion at the moment, but can collect more cash if necessary.

On topic - I'm also interested in joining the Winterfell ranks (or perhaps forming a night's watch if there's interest and Winterfell is deserted). Ideally I could then lend my support to the northern settlements in a more official manner.

In the meantime maybe I could become a guard recruit for Alstion or Snowy Fields? Or should I gain some experience first as an Oren Guard?

Youre welcome to join as a Snowy Fields guard.

We do have a small guard house you can get cheap while we build more medium sized houses to sell. Just seek out me or Tarannon to arrange housing, as for the guard duty you can report to Captain Tylos.

Well Zerragon, I can't recruit guards because I don't have spare keys.((I can't give people permission to open guard doors.))

Wloire i bring ill news. The Lord of Winterfell was not informed of the building of the wall before construction and he requests either you take it down or a certain wandering wizard could take it down.

So be it. Feel free to have your lord take it down however he sees fit. The stone means naught to me and it will take me as many months to tear it down as it had taken me to build it up.
