Oren Licenses

In the name of his Imperial Majesty Saint Godfrey first of his name and the Right Honorable Lord High Treasurer Patrick Denims the Oren Licenses is hereby declared and must be followed by every citizen within the Holy Empire. The Oren Licenses edict is to reduce common specialized jobs and increase business. Failure to follow the Oren Licenses may result in giving up your goods the crown or punishment by jailing.

Licenses:

Tavern License:The tavern license states that within the Holy Empire, taverns within settlements must hold a license purchased from the Lord High Treasurer. Tavern license are 330 minas every elven month to renew and starting fee. (Taverns include Pubs, Bars, and Inns)

Smithy License:Smithy Licenses states that within the Holy Empire, smithies within settlements must hold a license purchased from the Lord High Treasurer. Smithy Licenses are 240 minas every elven month to renew and starting fee. (Smithies include Blacksmiths, and workshops)

Shop License:Shop Licenses states that within the Holy Empire, shops within settlements must hold a license purchased from the Lord High Treasurer. Shop Licenses are 330 minas every elven month to renew and starting few. (Shops include Markets, general stores who mainly do not sell food, and stalls) Additional Rule: Shops in the same settlement must have a five items difference in item listing to keep business fair and running.

"They should have set prices on the wares sold at said licensed shops. Maybe a meeting of Oren merchants could decide prices of the empire, no? That way, merchant would not cut at each others' necks for sales"

-A note is posted within Arethor, in response to the License Document-

It is recommended that the Holy Oren Empire suspends all usage of the mina due to unprecedented inflation and posing a threat to economic stability and the currency value of the Holy Oren Empire. If continuation of the usage of the mina continues, the Holy Oren Empire's economic power will lessen and perhaps fall and the Holy Oren Empire will have no economic worth.
