In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: It is when I pretend to be someone else to such an extent that I am a whole new person. I act in a different way as I would normally and I have a totally different life whilst role-playing than in real life.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is when I plan my attacks on people or groups of people before hand, setting out the battlefield where I have diverted my enemies towards with tripwires and arrow dispensers. It is when I use my mind over my ping and how-fast-i-can-click abilities and thwart my enemies. but.... thats just me Posted Image

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Something mean. It doesn't make anyone happy but the one saying it. There is no use in saying "bob owned john" because that implies that bob owned john and john couldn't do anything about it, which means it is not roleplaying, but 'power-emoting'. I personally call it god-emoting, so i had to search up what 'power-emoting' was before I got what it meant XD

In-Character Details

Character Name: Lorien Braveheart (first name and surname)

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Lorien Braveheart (or Lorien Brave, as most people call him) was found drifting down a river in a long forgotten forest. It was never discovered where he came from, but many people living near the area felt a rift in the fabric of their world that day. He was a small baby, and when a lone Hunter dwarf picked him out of the, he believed the baby to be a dwarf, not a human. None the less, the Dwarf, who went by the name of Gmr-hog, looked after the baby boy and taught him the way of the wild. He taught him how to find food in the most incredible places, and how to fight of any dangers that came his way. The dwarf told the small boy about tales of magic, and how his arrival to this world made people feel odd. The boy was amazed. Could any single person with enough power and will learn magic? he tought!

It was not long until the old dwarf called upon Lorien for the last time, handing him an emerald and telling him to follow the humans, for they would lead him to his new home. Lorien left the dwarf to die in peace, took his bow and arrow, and set out to find his kind.

A tall man, at six foot two, he was welcomed with open hands when he needed help, and always rewarded the people who welcomed him with good luck and lots of food, for he was a master forager. After three years of travelling, Lorien had finally found the humans. A tall eighteen year old man was always one to attract attention, and many a brothel Lorien was invited to, before he knew what they asked of him.

Lorien found the humans to be weak and not willing to help anyone, so he himself strived to be better than them, helping anyone he thought needed help.

It was not untill long that Lorien heard about the Guild of Mages, where he could finally learn what he had been amazed by all those years ago. But first, he had to proove himself worthy. And so his journey begins. In the heart of the Human walls, Lorien wakes up...

What are your characters ambitions?: He wishes to learn Magic, but he wants to be able to use this Magic to explore the limits of any mortal being. He is a skilled bowman, provided the world follows his phisical body's commands (lag/no lag) and is well learned with the sword, able to collect food without problem.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He doesn't mind having arch-enemies and really enjoys reading books and making books on potions and Hunter/Gathering Tips

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Lorien would walk up to the dwarf, kneel down to his height and ask him what he has for sale.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Lorien steps in, talking calmly yet sternly, asking what the problem is. If he is told to go away, he doesn't, seperating the dwarf and orc with his hands, making sure they don't hit him, and tells them to calm down.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: He bends down to help the old man, picking up his coins and putting them in a new bag for the man. He goes to the nearest tree, punches it and makes a stick for the man, before collecting an apple from the tree, replanting the sappling and going on his way.
