Retribution Of Herecy

Lancel looked over the papers in a fashion of disgust. His blood boiled as he flipped through, seeing words such as They crusade across the lands citing verses to a false god. Finishing reading the documents he walks over towards his door with a dagger in hand, hurling it towards the center it penetrates it with a large thud.

"Damn the elves and their herecy. They shall all burn for this", he speaks with a angered tone to his wife Ryder

She does not say much, fearful for his Anger, instead Lancel heads for the barracks of Solace. He crosses over the bridge, looking out among his city. The shields rush to attention as he enters, the constables scream from under their armor as Lancel readies himself before the soldiers.

"Shields! Today the Elves have begun to build their graves with words of herecy!" Lancel looks over the confused shields, eyes flaring with life as he continues "They call our god false! They call us war seekers. They attack our Emperor and have their pretty ears pinched as if they expect no reaction from our great Empire? Today we support the elf known as Elene to become the position of High Princess as the council has declared they are unworthy of ruling a Kingdom!"

Lancel breathes deeply, breathless after the long speech, but he continues after a moment

"Any Mali elf found in Salvus shall be questioned, any parties of Elves should be reported to the crown and towards our Imperial Majesty. Let it also be known Salvus does not blame the people of Malinor, but council who runs it. No elves are to be harmed during questioning unless proving resistant and hostile. Children are not to be harmed. Shall you see a council member on our land you will be given a large reward for the capture! The council will either step down from their seats of power and retract their statements of the creator or they will suffer Salvus wrath! Huzzah!"

The Shields begin a chorus of Huzzahs as Lancel walks away from them, they cheer and clap, but soon after begin to get to work. Their pens dipped in ink and chisels chip away at wooden signs as pages begin to spread them around the kingdom, letting the people of Salvus know the news.

Masque nods "Aye sir!" She says to Chet and begins to patrol the streets. "I am worried for my elf friends...I hope no harm comes to th-nay....I shall not let it happen to them." She says to herself, a wicked smile crossing her lips for several seconds as she scans the streets.

Altariel wanders about Salvus, waiting for Kyral to come out of her quarters so they may speak. WIth a grumble of annoyance she goes and sits down on a log nearby the fort. After only a couple moments, she gives a start as shattering cries pull her from her reverie. She glares at the fort in annoyance, shaking her head and muttering something about men and their stupidity, before hunkering down, resigned to wait.

He continues to walk down to the Salvus keep to talk to James or Lancel.

Lancel stands on the gate barracks, wind blowing the flags furiously. The snapping of the tips as it shakes side to side is all Lancel can seem to focus on, as he ponders the Elves mistake.
